Lane Patterson is Chief Technologist for Equinix. Harro Beusker joined Equinix as Executive Vice President of Operations and Rollout in September 2000. In 2001 and 2002, he managed the expansion and further development of Equinix into eight data center sites in four countries across Europe. In December of 2002, Mr. Beusker was appointed General Manager for Equinix Germany, where he has grown the business significantly, adding a second data center in Frankfurt and acquiring a leading German business continuity company in 2005. After studying business economics and managerial informatics at Tilburg University in the Netherlands, Mr. Beusker gained more than 15 years of experience in the Telecommunications and ICT industry. He had his own ICT company, worked as ICT manager in the UK and Germany, and joined the Dutch telecommunications company KPN in 1990, moving through a number of IT management positions during his nine-year career at the company. In 1999, Mr. Beusker joined InterXion as COO, where he played a crucial role in the expansion from two to 12 data centers. He was also part of two funding rounds, the latter of 100m, beginning in 2000. In that same year, Mr. Beusker founded his own interim-management and consultancy company, specializing in the support of Internet startups. He also managed a project to set up an e-market for Philips, the leading Dutch electronics company. From May 2000 he was Interim-CEO/COO for Intelisite, a company with data centers in Frankfurt and Zurich, founded by JP Morgan and First Union Capital.

Frits van der Graaff's role at Equinix started when the company acquired its first Zurich data center. Originally acting as Swiss Sales Manager, Mr. van der Graaff is now responsible for the three highly specified data centers in Zurich and Geneva. He also supervises the operation of the TIX™ the largest Internet exchange in Switzerland, based in Zurich, which, combined with the CiXP (co-managed with CERN in Geneva), carries over 90% of peered Internet traffic in Switzerland.
Prior to working with Equinix, Mr. van der Graaff held the position of Project Manager with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in which time his extensive portfolio included the build out of a 29,000 sqm KLM freight building and design of a seven-story office building. During his time at KLM, he designed and managed many operation-oriented projects and supported the development of the new terminal of Schiphol Airport. There he drove sales and marketing functions as well as built channel partner relationships. A Singapore-listed company acquired the company in 2002. Before that, he was General Manager with full P&L accountability at Asia Online, a leading first-generation regional ISP. Mr. Leung has also held various sales management positions at IBM and Datacraft.
Mr. Leung holds a M.Sc. in Investment Management from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, an M.B.A. from Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a First Class Honours Degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Hong Kong.

Eric Schwartz joined Equinix in 2006 and has played various senior level management roles with the company. He spearheaded Equinix’s expansion to Europe – including the 2007 acquisition of IXEurope – and the ongoing integration of Equinix’s European operations into its global business. Most recently, Mr. Lee was Vice President of Equinix Asia-Pacific. Under his tenure, the Hong Kong IBX became an EBITDA (defined as income or loss from operations before depreciation, amortization, accretion, stock-based compensation expense and restructuring charges) and cash flow-positive operation. Mr. Lee also successfully led the Equinix Hong Kong team in building a strong position for Equinix in providing business continuity and disaster recovery services for the financial services industry in Hong Kong.?
Prior to joining Equinix in 2000, Mr. Lee served as Managing Director of Pacific Gateway Exchange (PGE), a provider of wholesale and retail long distance, Internet, and bandwidth services. In this position, he spearheaded the company’s expansion into the Hong Kong market, focusing on carrier services, such as voice wholesale, bilateral relationships, capacity and back haul sales, and Internet business services, including transit, colocation, and content delivery services. ?
Prior to PGE, Mr. Lee founded Telekom Consulting Ltd., a consulting firm offering strategic assistance to network providers in the deregulated telecommunications market in Hong Kong and Asia. He also held management positions at Teleglobe International, Intel, and Sprint.

Mr. Lyons has been our Director since 2006. Mr. Lyons currently serves on the Board of Directors of
Equinix, Inc. He served as Vice Chairman of ProLogis, a global provider of distribution facilities and
services, from 2001 through May 2006. He was Chief Investment Officer from March 1997 to December
2004, and held several other executive positions since joining ProLogis in 1993. Prior to joining
ProLogis, he was a Managing Partner of King & Lyons, a San Francisco Bay Area industrial real
estate development and management company, since its inception in 1979. Mr. Lyons is 59 years old.

Michelangelo Volpi is the Senior Vice President of the Routing Technology Group at Cisco Systems. In this capacity, he is responsible for all of Cisco's routing and access products including the core, midrange, and access routers ranging from the GSR 12000 to the 800 series, mobile wireless as well as cable solutions. Prior to his current position, Mr. Volpi was chief strategy officer for Cisco. As CSO, Volpi was responsible for Cisco's corporate strategy as well as business development, strategic alliances, advanced Internet projects, legal services, and government affairs. Mr. Volpi directed Cisco's expansion into new markets and technologies through a balance of internal development, partnerships and acquisitions. Since joining Cisco in 1994, Volpi has been instrumental in the creation of the company's acquisition and investment strategies. Cisco has acquired more than 70 companies during his tenure and has developed Cisco's acquisition and integration processes, which have been a significant driver of Cisco growth into new markets. Before joining Cisco, Mr. Volpi spent three years at Hewlett Packard's Optoelectronics Division. Mr. Volpi is a member of both the Equinix, Inc. and TIBCO Software Boards of Directors. He has a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, all from Stanford University.
Steven Eng has served as a director of Equinix since December 2002. Mr. Eng has been a vice president of solutions architecture at Multimax, Inc. (formerly Netco Government Services, and prior to that, WAM!NET Government Services, Inc.), a data communications company, since April 2002. Prior to joining WAM!NET, Mr. Eng served as vice president of Exodus Communications from March 1995 to September 2001. Mr. Eng served on the board of directors of i-STT Singapore prior to its merger with Equinix.
