Lane Patterson is Chief Technologist for Equinix. He runs network architecture and development projects for the company, including 10GigE switching platforms supporting BGP4 peering, ROADM-based metro optical services, emerging VoIP and SIP peering, and experimental IPv6 and Multicast exchanges. Prior to joining Equinix, Mr. Patterson was Director of IP Network Management Systems for GlobalCrossing, Inc., where he contributed to tools development, event reporting, traffic measurement, and trending for a large-scale IP backbone and content distribution centers. During 1995-96, he served as a Data Communications Consultant at MFS WorldCom, where he managed installations and operation of the MAE-East exchange point and related Frame Relay and ATM services during an explosive growth stage. Mr. Patterson received a B.A. in Physics from Cornell University and an M.S. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University.

Sam Kapoor joined Equinix in 2001 from WorldCom, where he held the position of Vice President of Hosting Operations and was responsible for the build-out and day-to-day operations of six hosting centers. Prior to the company's acquisition by WorldCom, Mr. Kapoor served as Vice President of Global Network Operations for CompuServe Network Services and was responsible for the engineering, implementation and operations for CompuServe’s worldwide network. Before joining CompuServe, Mr. Kapoor held the position of Senior Director of Telecommunications for over 10 years at Lexis-Nexis in Miamisburg, Ohio.?? Mr. Kapoor holds an M.B.A. (Operations Research) from Miami University of Ohio and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Harro Beusker joined Equinix as Executive Vice President of Operations and Rollout in September 2000. In 2001 and 2002, he managed the expansion and further development of Equinix into eight data center sites in four countries across Europe. In December of 2002, Mr. Beusker was appointed General Manager for Equinix Germany, where he has grown the business significantly, adding a second data center in Frankfurt and acquiring a leading German business continuity company in 2005. After studying business economics and managerial informatics at Tilburg University in the Netherlands, Mr. Beusker gained more than 15 years of experience in the Telecommunications and ICT industry. He had his own ICT company, worked as ICT manager in the UK and Germany, and joined the Dutch telecommunications company KPN in 1990, moving through a number of IT management positions during his nine-year career at the company. In 1999, Mr. Beusker joined InterXion as COO, where he played a crucial role in the expansion from two to 12 data centers. He was also part of two funding rounds, the latter of 100m, beginning in 2000. In that same year, Mr. Beusker founded his own interim-management and consultancy company, specializing in the support of Internet startups. He also managed a project to set up an e-market for Philips, the leading Dutch electronics company. From May 2000 he was Interim-CEO/COO for Intelisite, a company with data centers in Frankfurt and Zurich, founded by JP Morgan and First Union Capital.

Dan Walker joined Equinix in 2000 and has over fifteen years of sales experience in the high-tech industry. He has held several senior-level sales management positions within Equinix prior to assuming his current role at the start of 2008. He spearheaded Equinix's solution offering to the financial industry by helping create the Equinix Financial Exchange (EFX) product in 2003. Prior to Equinix, Mr. Walker has also held high-level sales positions at AMP Incorporated and Globix. Mr. Walker holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Dayton.

Herb Kirchner joined Equinix in September 2003, as Director of Northern California's IBX Operations. Prior to joining Equinix, Mr. Kirchner served as Director of North American Operations at CompuServe/UUNet and Director of Customer Program Management at Ameritech. Mr. Kirchner holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Otterbein College, Westerville, Ohio.

Howard B. Horowitz joined Equinix in 2005 with more than 20 years experience in commercial real estate acquisition, leasing, and development. Prior to Equinix, Mr. Horowitz was a Senior Vice President and Principal of Trammell Crow Company, where he led the company's development and corporate advisory services group, specializing in mission critical facilities. Prior to Trammell Crow Company, Mr. Horowitz was President and Principal Broker of Telecom Realty Group, Inc., a Northern Virginia-based real estate consulting and brokerage company that represented major telecommunications and high-tech companies throughout the U.S. Mr. Horowitz is nationally recognized in the field of data center site acquisition and development.

Keri Crask joined Equinix in 2005 and is responsible for leading the company's global human resource functions. Prior to joining Equinix, Ms. Crask built and led the global human resource team for Engenio Information Technology, an external RAID OEM storage system subsidiary of LSI Logic. Ms. Crask has also served in human resource management roles in the service and healthcare industries and in higher education. Ms. Crask has completed the Stanford Human Resource Executive Program and holds an M.S. in Adult Education from Kansas State University along with a B.A. from Southwestern College.

Frits van der Graaff's role at Equinix started when the company acquired its first Zurich data center. Originally acting as Swiss Sales Manager, Mr. van der Graaff is now responsible for the three highly specified data centers in Zurich and Geneva. He also supervises the operation of the TIX™ the largest Internet exchange in Switzerland, based in Zurich, which, combined with the CiXP (co-managed with CERN in Geneva), carries over 90% of peered Internet traffic in Switzerland. Prior to working with Equinix, Mr. van der Graaff held the position of Project Manager with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in which time his extensive portfolio included the build out of a 29,000 sqm KLM freight building and design of a seven-story office building. During his time at KLM, he designed and managed many operation-oriented projects and supported the development of the new terminal of Schiphol Airport. Other positions Mr. van der Graaff has held include—Head of Development & Planning for Desenco (where he was responsible for project and facilities management) and Senior Manager for Rietmeyer.

Joorg Rosengart joined Equinix in 2005 when the company acquired Gesellschaft fur Informationstechnologie und Consulting mbH (GIC), Germany's leading business continuity provider. Prior to this, Joerg was General Manager and shareholder of GIC for over five years where heand was instrumental in the company'sies growth and subsequent leading market leading position. Joorg trained in tele-communication engineering during the 1970s and continued his career at Texas Instruments, Deutsche Bank and IMS Data, where he progressed to Datacentre Director and then General Manager.

Michel Brignano joined Equinix in January 2007, bringing expertise from a wide range of commercial technology roles. His previous position was at Telecity, where he was the Country Manager for over five years. There he was responsible for strategy and market solutions for the French territory. Prior to this position, he had a number of commercial roles. He worked for DELL Computers from 1993 to 1997 as Chief of Sales and for UUNET as a Sales Director from 1997 to 2001, initially working for the France business unit and then operating across South of Europe.

Darren Mann joined Equinix in January 2001 and has played an integral part in building Equinix's customer base in Sydney. In 2006, Mr. Mann held the position of Sales Director where he was responsible for the performance of the local sales team. As Managing Director, Mr. Mann has overall responsibility for Equinix's business presence in the Australian market. Prior to Equinix, Mr. Mann spent six years at IHS Australia as a member of the sales team, where he was responsible for selling online technical and regulatory database services to the University, Construction & Mining, and Defense industry sectors. Previously, he spent six years in the retail sector, three of which were in management positions. Mr. Mann has over 13 years of experience in the IT industry and 18 years of sales experience.

Jonathan Leung has over 18 years of management experience in North Asia’s technology industry. Most recently, he was the Director of Business Strategy at ASTRI—a Hong Kong-based R&D firm where he was responsible for the negotiation and execution of technology licensing deals. ? Prior to that, Mr. Leung was the Vice President of Sales at CPCNet, where he managed five sales offices in Hong Kong and China. In 1998, Mr. Leung co-founded NetTasking Inc., a network infrastructure management service provider in Asia-Pacific. There he drove sales and marketing functions as well as built channel partner relationships. A Singapore-listed company acquired the company in 2002. Before that, he was General Manager with full P&L accountability at Asia Online, a leading first-generation regional ISP. Mr. Leung has also held various sales management positions at IBM and Datacraft. Mr. Leung holds a M.Sc. in Investment Management from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, an M.B.A. from Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a First Class Honours Degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Hong Kong.

Brandi Galvin Morandi joined Equinix in January 2003 and has served as Equinix's General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since that time. Before joining Equinix, Ms. Morandi practiced in the corporate securities group at the law firm of Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP (Gunderson Dettmer) in Menlo Park, California. At Gunderson Dettmer, Ms. Morandi represented public and private companies in a variety of debt and equity offerings, mergers, and acquisitions as well as providing general corporate public company representation. Prior to her legal career, Ms. Morandi held various positions in the field of public relations.? Ms. Morandi holds a B.A. in International Relations and Journalism from the University of Southern California and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Eric Schwartz joined Equinix in 2006 and has played various senior level management roles with the company. He spearheaded Equinix’s expansion to Europe – including the 2007 acquisition of IXEurope – and the ongoing integration of Equinix’s European operations into its global business. As President, Equinix Europe, Mr. Schwartz oversees the management, strategy and growth for Equinix in Europe. Mr. Schwartz came to Equinix from BellSouth where he was Vice President – IP Communications and led the development and implementation of advanced technologies including VoIP. Prior to joining BellSouth, he was Executive Vice President of Harold A. Dawson Company, an Atlanta-based real estate development company. Mr. Schwartz also is a former member of McKinsey & Co. where he consulted with telecommunications and financial services companies in the U.S. and Asia on strategic issues. Mr. Schwartz earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and was an undergraduate at Stanford University where he earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. in Economics.

As President of Equinix Asia-Pacific, Mr. Samuel Lee holds overall responsibility for all Equinix operations in the Asia-Pacific region, including Internet Business Exchange™ (IBX®) centers in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Sydney. Mr. Lee brings a wealth of experience in telecom and Internet services as well as expertise in startup operations.? Most recently, Mr. Lee was Vice President of Equinix Asia-Pacific. Under his tenure, the Hong Kong IBX became an EBITDA (defined as income or loss from operations before depreciation, amortization, accretion, stock-based compensation expense and restructuring charges) and cash flow-positive operation. Mr. Lee also successfully led the Equinix Hong Kong team in building a strong position for Equinix in providing business continuity and disaster recovery services for the financial services industry in Hong Kong.? Prior to joining Equinix in 2000, Mr. Lee served as Managing Director of Pacific Gateway Exchange (PGE), a provider of wholesale and retail long distance, Internet, and bandwidth services. In this position, he spearheaded the company’s expansion into the Hong Kong market, focusing on carrier services, such as voice wholesale, bilateral relationships, capacity and back haul sales, and Internet business services, including transit, colocation, and content delivery services. ? Prior to PGE, Mr. Lee founded Telekom Consulting Ltd., a consulting firm offering strategic assistance to network providers in the deregulated telecommunications market in Hong Kong and Asia. He also held management positions at Teleglobe International, Intel, and Sprint. ? Mr. Lee holds a B.A. from City University of Hong Kong.

Mr. Lyons has been our Director since 2006. Mr. Lyons currently serves on the Board of Directors of Equinix, Inc. He served as Vice Chairman of ProLogis, a global provider of distribution facilities and services, from 2001 through May 2006. He was Chief Investment Officer from March 1997 to December 2004, and held several other executive positions since joining ProLogis in 1993. Prior to joining ProLogis, he was a Managing Partner of King & Lyons, a San Francisco Bay Area industrial real estate development and management company, since its inception in 1979. Mr. Lyons is 59 years old.

Michelangelo Volpi is the Senior Vice President of the Routing Technology Group at Cisco Systems. In this capacity, he is responsible for all of Cisco's routing and access products including the core, midrange, and access routers ranging from the GSR 12000 to the 800 series, mobile wireless as well as cable solutions. Prior to his current position, Mr. Volpi was chief strategy officer for Cisco. As CSO, Volpi was responsible for Cisco's corporate strategy as well as business development, strategic alliances, advanced Internet projects, legal services, and government affairs. Mr. Volpi directed Cisco's expansion into new markets and technologies through a balance of internal development, partnerships and acquisitions. Since joining Cisco in 1994, Volpi has been instrumental in the creation of the company's acquisition and investment strategies. Cisco has acquired more than 70 companies during his tenure and has developed Cisco's acquisition and integration processes, which have been a significant driver of Cisco growth into new markets. Before joining Cisco, Mr. Volpi spent three years at Hewlett Packard's Optoelectronics Division. Mr. Volpi is a member of both the Equinix, Inc. and TIBCO Software Boards of Directors. He has a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, all from Stanford University.

Steven Eng has served as a director of Equinix since December 2002. Mr. Eng has been a vice president of solutions architecture at Multimax, Inc. (formerly Netco Government Services, and prior to that, WAM!NET Government Services, Inc.), a data communications company, since April 2002. Prior to joining WAM!NET, Mr. Eng served as vice president of Exodus Communications from March 1995 to September 2001. Mr. Eng served on the board of directors of i-STT Singapore prior to its merger with Equinix.

Terry is a veteran in the telecoms industry with 33 years of extensive experience. He began his career in the United States, and has worked internationally for the past 18 years. He moved to Singapore in January 1999 to head the start-up joint venture, StarHub.
