Charles Marino is Executive Vice President, Chief Actuary for AXA Financial, Inc. and a member of the Executive Management Committee. Mr. Marino is responsible for all actuarial aspects of pricing, underwriting, reinsurance, and valuation and financial projections. He has held several company positions since joining the company in 1980. His company experience includes senior roles with responsibility for the valuation of insurance reserves, DAC, asset and liability projection models and earnings analysis, as well as management of the group pension line of business. Mr. Marino joined AXA Financial following his graduation from New York University, where he earned a BA magna cum laude in Mathematics. He is a fellow in The Society of Actuaries.

Claude Methot is Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer of AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company. He has responsibility for all life insurance and annuity product design. Mr. Methot joined AXA Equitable in September 2007 from its parent, the global AXA Group of Paris. He most recently served as a Senior Vice President in charge of Offer and Innovation for Life and Property & Casualty in Group Marketing. He was responsible for developing differentiated and innovative offers across all business lines of operating companies worldwide. Mr. Methot joined AXA Group in 1999 as a Corporate Actuary. From January 2002-February 2007, he served as AXA Group's Chief Actuary for Life and Savings and Director of Product Development in Group Risk Management. Mr. Methot was pivotal in developing AXA Group's first global product offer for the Accumulator variable annuity. Prior to joining AXA Group, Mr. Methot held positions with Proxima in France and William M. Mercer Limited in Toronto. Mr. Methot received an Actuarial diploma from Laval University in Quebec. He is a qualified member of L'Institut de Actuaires (France) and an associate of the Society of Actuaries.

Kevin R. Byrne is Executive Vice President of AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company and member of its Executive Management Committee. He serves as chief investment officer and treasurer of AXA Equitable and its subsidiaries. Mr. Byrne is responsible for the strategy and oversight of the investment portfolios of AXA Financial and its subsidiaries. In addition, he is responsible for the company's treasury functions and the company's hedging programs supporting products and investment. Mr. Byrne also provides oversight of the U.S. investor relations activity of AXA Financial's parent organization, the global AXA Group. Other responsibilities include management of various reinsurance and special purpose insurance subsidiaries, including AXA Corporate Solutions Life Re, Equitable Casualty Insurance Company and AXA Financial (Bermuda). Mr. Byrne joined AXA Financial in 1989. He became treasurer in 1995, a senior vice president in 1997 and chief investment officer in 2004. Mr. Byrne holds an MBA from New York University and a BS from Fordham University.

As President of AXA Distributors, Mr. Shepherdson directs the execution of its mission to become the industry leader in the distribution of life insurance and annuity products through financial intermediaries: such as wirehouses, financial institutions, independent financial planners, brokerage general agencies, third-party administrators, registered investment advisors and personal producing general agents. AXA Distributors markets these products to approximately 90,000 registered representatives in those various channels. Over the past 26-years, Mr. Shepherdson has held a number of leadership roles in the insurance industry with a significant focus on building and managing third-party distribution organizations. During his first tenure with the organization, Mr. Shepherdson was a senior vice president of The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the U.S. and co-managing director of Equitable Distributors, Inc., the predecessor of AXA Distributors. After leaving AXA, he became co-CEO of MetLife Investors Group, where he was responsible for the design, manufacture and distribution of life insurance and annuity products sold through third-party channels. Prior to re-joining AXA, Mr. Shepherdson served as CEO of John Hancock Funds, leading the organization through a period of transformation and growth following the completion of the John Hancock Financial Services - Manulife Financial merger. Under Mr. Shepherdson's leadership, John Hancock Funds significantly expanded its product breadth and investment expertise. This included the adoption of 8 top performing GMO funds - setting in place the key building blocks: performance, product breadth, distribution and scale to ensure the continued success of John Hancock Funds. A native of California, Mr. Shepherdson earned both a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance at the University of Southern California.

Andrew McMahon is Executive Vice President & COO of Retail Distribution of AXA Equitable, Inc. and its principal insurance subsidiary, The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the U.S. Mr. McMahon is responsible for the management of the company's retail field force, including its 7,000 financial professionals and 60 branch offices nationwide and in Puerto Rico. Mr. McMahon joined AXA Equitable in March of 2005 as the head of the company's Strategic Initiatives Group. In this role, he was responsible for helping shape, drive and implement our slate of strategic initiatives for accelerating revenue growth, including building several components of our "At Retirement" business. Prior to joining AXA Equitable Mr. McMahon was a Principal at McKinsey & Co. and served as a Life Insurance Practice leader in North America. During his tenure at McKinsey, his work centered on distribution and strategy solutions for the retail and third-party distribution operations of many life insurance industry leaders. Prior to McKinsey, Mr. McMahon spent several years in management positions with various business divisions of General Electric. Mr. McMahon earned a BS from Fairfield University and a MBA from Columbia Business School.
