Bill joined Premier in 2005. Bill is President of W.P. Barry and Associates, Inc., an Energy Consulting firm that advises major commercial and industrial companies regarding energy procurement. Bill has over 35 years of experience in customer acquisition, advisement and supply and is a former Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at Equitable Gas Company, a regulated natural gas utility. His position, prior to being promoted to VP of Sales and Marketing with Equitable was Director of Natural Gas Trading for the non-regulated arm of Equitable. Before joining Equitable, Bill was the General Manager of Norstar Energy Limited Partnership (formerly O&R Energy) where he was responsible for gas trading, gas procurement in the Appalachian Region, and customer acquisition. He managed a 35 person sales and trading team responsible for commercial, industrial and utility sales in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Bill has a Masters Degree in Energy Resources from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was recently a Research Associate in the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering studying alternative boiler fuels. He has also conducted workshops for the United States Department of Energy on "How to Purchase Natural Gas'' and advises Minority firms engaged in the energy business.
