John Paule, Executive Vice President of FBL Financial Group, joined FBL in 1997 after spending more than nineteen years with IBM. Paule holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Iowa State University. He also completed advanced management courses for insurance and financial services at Wharton School of Business and Georgia State. He joined FBL as Vice President-Information Technology and was promoted to Vice President-Corporate Administration in 1998, before being named Chief Marketing Officer in 2000. In 2003 John was promoted to Executive Vice President of EquiTrust Life Insurance Company. Paule is on the board of directors of privately held MSI System Integrators, Inc. and the West Des Moines Development Corporation. He is a member and past president of the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce and the West Des Moines Rotary Club. He has also served on the board of directors for Des Moines General Hospital Foundation, Junior Achievement and Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, and is a past president of the Board of Education, West Des Moines Community School District. Paule is a Registered Representative and a Registered Principal with FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
