Dan has been practicing as a tax accountant and financial advisor since 1996. He graduated from Clayton State College with a BBA in Accounting. Dan concentrates in personalized financial and tax planning services for individuals and corporations. Don Reutemann brings over 25 years of small business ownership and management to his financial planning practice. He knows, first hand, the concerns of small business owners as well as retirement planning concerns of individuals. He specializes in succession planning, estate planning strategies, qualified plans, asset management and preservation. Don is a graduate of the CFP Professional Education Program of the College for Financial Planning and earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM designation in October of 2003. He is an active member of the Financial Planning Association,a graduate of their Residency Program, as well as a member of the Community Foundation and Estate Planning Council. Community involvement includes current or past Board membership of the Colonie Youth Center, LaSalle Institute, Northeastern Association of the Blind, Albany Executives Association and The Latham Area Chamber of Commerce. Don is a certified ski instructor for the blind. He has received a number of business and community recognition awards. An accomplished speaker, Don conducts seminars on a variety of financial planning topics, as well as a frequent Toastmaster for numerous business and fund raising events. Don works with clients in a variety of ways including fee based, as well as fee and commission arrangements. Don is a graduate of the University of Colorado, magna cum laude in psychology. He resides in Latham, NY with his wife Betsy, and sons, William and Charles.
