Terrence W. Cavanaugh, serves as president and chief executive officer of Erie Insurance Group, a regional property/casualty and life insurer based in Erie, Pa. A native of Chicago, Cavanaugh joined The ERIE in 2008 after a distinguished 33-year career with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. He began his career as a bond underwriter for Chubb Surety in 1975 after graduating from the University of Notre Dame. He progressed through a variety of positions with increasing responsibility in Chubb's property/casualty business. These included several branch manager positions followed by two Zone Officer positions. As a Zone Officer, he was responsible for underwriting, claims, loss control and marketing activities, including management of the agency distribution relationship in up to 17 states. He was credited with growing revenues and expanding the agency distribution channel, and raising underwriting, service and marketing functions to new levels of effectiveness. These achievements led to his appointment as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Chubb in 1999. As CMO, he developed new product capabilities that led to a rise in new products and premiums. Mr. Cavanaugh was then asked to return to Chubb Surety to serve as its Chief Operating Officer, a position he held until joining The ERIE in July 2008. Mr. Cavanaugh currently serves on the Board of Governors of Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI).

Marcia A. Dall, CPA, serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Erie Insurance Group. As CFO, Dall has responsibility for all accounting, finance, tax, investment management and property casualty actuarial functions for Erie Insurance Group. She is also a member of the executive council, which develops strategy for all Erie Insurance Group businesses. Prior to joining ERIE, she served as chief financial officer for the Healthcare division at Cigna Corporation, a global health services company. Prior to Cigna, she was a corporate officer for Genworth Financial, Inc., a former subsidiary of General Electric. At Genworth, she served as chief financial officer for the International and U.S. Mortgage Insurance Segments. There she partnered with the leadership team in the strategic, operational and financial management of the business. Marcia began her career in 1985 in the Financial Management Program at General Electric and, throughout her tenure with the company, held various leadership positions both in finance and operations. Her experience includes: senior business analyst for GE Capital Services; executive vice president of Customer Operations for GE Capital Railcar Services and later chief financial officer for the unit; and senior vice president of Insurance Products for GE Financial Assurance, which led to her career with Genworth. While at GE, Marcia earned four prestigious Pinnacle Awards in recognition of her accomplishments. The June 2008 issue of CFO Magazine listed Marcia as number five on its list of 25 Women to Watch, the magazine's "pipeline of women poised to become Fortune 500 CFOs." A certified public accountant, Marcia holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, and a master's degree in management from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg School of Management.

George R. Lucore, CPCU, AIC, AIM, CIC, LUTCF, AAM, AIT, serves as executive vice president of Field Operations at Erie Insurance Group, a regional property/casualty and life insurer based in Erie, Pa. He oversees the Agency and Claims Divisions, as well as the regional vice presidents. Since joining Erie Insurance in 1972, George has worked in a variety of positions, including commercial field underwriter, district sales manager, branch sales manager, branch manager, regional vice president and division officer of the Agency Division. George holds a bachelor’s degree in insurance from Pennsylvania State University. In addition, he has earned designations as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Management (AIM), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Life Underwriter Training Council (LUTC), Associate in Automation Management (AAM) and Associate in Information Technology (AIT). George is a member of the Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters and the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. He has served as Chairman of the Board for the Greater Erie County Chapter of the American Red Cross.

James J. Tanous serves as executive vice president, secretary and general counsel of Erie Insurance, a regional property/casualty and life insurer based in Erie, Pa. He has been a member of the board of directors of Erie Insurance Company of New York since its inception in 1995. Tanous is a member of the office of the president and participates in setting the strategic direction, priorities, and long-term goals of Erie Insurance. As general counsel, he provides legal guidance for company operations and directs governmental and legislative affairs. This work brings him in frequent contact with the legislatures and insurance commissioners of the 11 states in which Erie Insurance operates. Tanous' previous experience includes Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP, Attorneys at Law, in Buffalo, New York, where he served as chairman of the firm's executive committee and partner in the business and corporate practice group. He has more than 30 years of experience representing publicly traded companies, both domestic and international. Erie is one among many property & casualty insurance companies he has represented. Tanous has also served as counsel to directors, officers and board committees of private and public companies, providing advice and counsel on myriad issues confronting directors and officers, including corporate governance issues, director's and officer's indemnification coverage and issues presented by regulatory authorities such as state insurance departments and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Tanous earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and English from St. Bonaventure University, as well as a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Mike S. Zavasky, CPCU, CIC, ARe, serves as executive vice president of Insurance Operations at Erie Insurance Group, a regional property/casualty and life insurer based in Erie, Pa. Mike oversees the Personal Lines, Commercial Lines and Customer Service Divisions. Since joining Erie Insurance in 1977, Mike has held several positions, including claims adjuster, district sales manager, commercial underwriting manager, managing director of reinsurance operations, senior vice president & division officer of the Commercial Lines Division, and senior vice president of the Strategy Management Office. Mike graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with cum laude honors and is a summa cum laude honors MBA graduate from Pennsylvania State University. At Penn State, he earned the Walker Award for scholastic excellence. In addition, he has earned designations as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe). He also completed coursework with the Life Underwriter Training Council (LUTC).
