Timothy LaLonde is a Senior Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer of the firm’s corporate advisory business.
Mr. LaLonde has seventeen years of advisory experience and, prior to joining Evercore, he was an Executive Director at UBS Warburg (and was at Dillon Read, a predecessor firm), where much of his work focused on mergers and acquisitions. Prior to business school, Mr. LaLonde worked as a Vice President at a merger and acquisition advisory boutique firm.
Since joining Evercore, Mr. LaLonde has advised on General Motors’ sale of a 51%interest in GMAC, AT&T’s acquisition of BellSouth, NTL’s acquisition of Telewest, SBC’s acquisition of AT&T, EDS’ sale of UGS PLM, the sale of PanAmSat to an investor group and Cingular’s acquisition of AT&T Wireless. In addition, Mr. LaLonde has been involved in numerous transactions in the energy, building and construction, and general industrial sectors.

Andrew Rondepierre is a Vice President of the firm’s Marketing and Business Development group.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Rondepierre was Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Credit Suisse Asset Management, where he was responsible for producing retail marketing and institutional client servicing material. Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Rondepierre worked for nine years at Sanford C. Bernstein and Co., Inc. (and subsequently AllianceBernstein) as a Vice President in institutional sales/marketing and operational management roles.
Mr. Rondepierre received a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Mendelow was Vice President of Corporate Development at FirstMark Communications Europe, a European CLEC with operations in France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland, that constructed a pan-European fiber optic backbone and wireless local loop and DSL access networks. Prior to joining FirstMark, Mr. Mendelow was an analyst at BT Wolfensohn (Deutsche Bank).
While at Evercore, Mr. Mendelow has focused on telecom and technology clients. Scott Patrick is a Managing Director of the firm’s corporate advisory business.

Prior to working at Rohatyn, he was a Managing Director and Co-head of Deutsche Bank's Telecommunications Group for the Americas and a Managing Director of Lazard in New York.Over the last decade, Mr. Ha has been a leading investment banker to companies in the telecommunications, media and technology industry (TMT) and has advised on some of the largest and seminal transactions in the TMT sector.Mr. Ha, 42, began his investment banking career at Lehman Brothers. Jane Sadowsky is a Senior Managing Director of the firm’s corporate advisory business.
Prior to joining Evercore, Ms. Sadowsky was a Managing Director in Citigroup’s Investment Banking division where she focused on Power and Utility companies and was the Co-Head of Citigroup’s North America Power Investment Banking group. Ms. Sadowsky started her investment banking career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where she spent 11 years, and left as a Senior Vice President in the Utilities Group.
Ms. Sadowsky holds a B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2004, Ms. Sadowsky was awarded the Wharton Women in Business Award for her work in mentoring and career development for women on Wall Street.
Jane Gladstone-Wheeler is the Senior Managing Director leading Evercore’s financial services corporate advisory business with over 17 years of investment banking experience. For the past three years, Ms. Gladstone-Wheeler has been named one of the Top 30 rainmakers on Wall Street by Dealmaker magazine.
Since joining Evercore, Ms. Gladstone-Wheeler has advised International Securities Exchange on the merger of ISE Stock Exchange with Direct Edge. Michael Price is a Senior Managing Director of the firm’s corporate advisory business.
Prior to Evercore, Mr. Price spent eleven years at Lazard where he was a Managing Director and founded and led the firm’s global Telecom and Technology Group. In 1998, he co-founded FirstMark Communications Europe, a 60 city IP backbone across Europe with access businesses in Spain and France.
Mr. Price has advised on a number of the largest transactions in the telecom industry, including SBC’s acquisition of AT&T, Cingular’s acquisition of AT&T Wireless, SBC’s acquisition of Pactel, McCaw Cellular’s sale to AT&T and the breakup of US West. Mr. Price also created Lazard Technology Partners, a venture capital group, and was responsible for some of Lazard’s most successful investments, including Amdocs, a leveraged recapitalization led by Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe which has resulted in over $2 billion of gain for WCAS, on approximately $200 million of investment.

Mr. Billyard has fourteen years of experience in the investment banking business. William Shutzer is a Senior Managing Director of the firm’s corporate advisory business.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Shutzer was a Managing Director of Lehman Brothers, where he did both advisory work and was a principal in Lehman’s Merchant Banking Group from 2000-2003. From 1994-2000, he was at Furman Selz and ING Baring Furman Selz where he was President and Executive Vice President. From 1982-1995, Mr. Hiltz was a Managing Director at Smith Barney where at various times he headed the Energy Group, the High Yield and Merchant Banking Group, the Transportation Group and the General Industrial Group. Mr. Hiltz has 32 years of experience in the investment banking business, beginning in 1976 when he first joined Dillon Read.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Repko served as chairman and head of The Restructuring Group at J.P. Roger C. Altman, Chairman of Evercore, co-founded the company in 1996. He began his investment banking career at Lehman Brothers and became a general partner of that firm in 1974. Curtis Hessler, director, has been a Lecturer at the UCLA School of Law since 2003. Mr. Hessler has held various CEO and board-level leadership positions in media and IT companies. In 1998, Mr. Hessler founded 101 Communications LLC, an IT media company, as CEO and served as the company's Chairman until its sale in 2006. From 1985 to 1991, he was Vice-Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Unisys Corporation; from 1991 to 1995, he was Executive Vice President of Times Mirror Company; he was Chairman of I-net. Inc. during 1996; and he was President of Quarterdeck Corporation in 1997-1998. From 1981 to 1983, Mr. Hessler practiced law as a partner at Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison. From 1976 to 1981, Mr. Hessler served as the U.S. Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy, Executive Director of President's Economic Group, and Associate Director of OMB. He clerked for Judge J. Skelly Wright of the U.S. Court of Appeals in D.C. from 1973 to 1974 and then clerked for Justice Potter Stewart of the U.S. Supreme Court from 1974 to 1975. Mr. Hessler is currently a Director of Learning Tree International, Inc. Mr. Hessler received a B.A. from Harvard College, a J.D. from Yale Law School and an M.A. from the University of California at Berkeley. He was also a Rhodes Scholar of Balliol College at Oxford.

Francois de St. Phalle, director, has been a private equity investor, financial advisor and investment banker for more than thirty-five years. He was a consultant for Evercore from 2000 to 2002. From 1989 to 2000 he was Chief Operating Officer and Vice Chairman of Dillon, Read & Co. Inc. before it was merged into UBS. In this capacity he was responsible for managing some 700 employees and for the oversight of the firm's capital commitments in debt and equity markets. Previously, Mr. de St. Phalle worked for twenty-one years at Lehman Brothers. He was named a general partner of the firm in 1976 and at various points he managed the Corporate Syndicate Department, the Equity Division and co-headed the Corporate Finance Department. From 1985 to 1989 he served as Chairman of Lehman International, with a primary responsibility for developing a coordinated international finance strategy with American Express which had acquired Lehman in 1984. He was named to Lehman's Operating and Compensation Committees in 1980.
Mr. de St. Phalle is a member of the Board of Visitors of Columbia College. He received his B.A. from Columbia College.
