Barry M. Berger, MD, joined EXACT Sciences in 1999. He received his MD from the University of Pennsylvania. Berger has had a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School and has been affiliated staff in Pathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital since 1982. His post graduate training includes a post doctoral fellowship in immunology (University of Pennsylvania), medical internship at Boston University Hospital, and Residency/Chief Resident in Pathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. Berger is boarded in Anatomic, Clinical and Cytologic pathology. Earlier in his career, Berger spent 11 years as the Director of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare. Roger Kitterman joined Mi3 Venture Partners in 2003. Roger is an experienced venture capital investor and has guided multiple venture-backed companies through the earliest stages of development. Rick Blume has been active in medically focused venture capital since the mid 1980's. Prior to forming CB Health Ventures he co-founded Capital Health Management and the American Healthcare Funds.
