Kevin has spent his entire adult life involved in aviation in some way. He earned his private pilot's license by working at a small FBO during the summer while finishing his university studies. Subsequently, Kevin was commissioned in the U. S. Air Force and logged thousands of hours flying the RC-135 reconnaissance plane. Having spent a great deal of time flying and instructing in the Air Force, Kevin is now retired from active duty joins the AirplanesUSA team from the Florida Panhandle where he resides with his lovely wife. Kevin has personally bought and sold several aircraft for himself over the years. But the itch for speed eventually overwhelmed him and he finally built his dream plane - a Stoddard-Hamilton Glasair III. He did all the work, including the engine and the avionics wiring himself. Kevin is an active member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and is our resident expert on homebuilt aircraft. Kevin is a commercial rated instrument pilot with over 1300 civilian flight hours and regularly flies his Glasair all over the country.
