The company serves municipalities in Europe, South America and the Caribbean. It has over 63,600 employees and revenue of about $7.5 billion. In Aptil 2006, FCC, through subsidiary Aqualia, acquired Czech water company SeveromoravskA¬ Vodovody a Kanalizace Ostrava, A.S. (SmVaK) for about $300 million.
