Its construction activities include highways, airports, dams, harbors, railways, and oil and gas pipelines. Non-construction related services include solid waste collection and disposal, street cleaning, water supply, drinking and waste water treatment plants maintenance, cement manufacture, real estate development, parking, urban furniture and fixtures, passenger transport, official vehicle inspection and airport handling, among others. The company serves municipalities in Europe, South America and the Caribbean. It has over 63,600 employees and revenue of about $7.5 billion. In Aptil 2006, FCC, through subsidiary Aqualia, acquired Czech water company SeveromoravskA¬ Vodovody a Kanalizace Ostrava, A.S. (SmVaK) for about $300 million.
