Chris Mayer started as a Line Captain with Scott Air Charter, now Sterling Aviation, in 1999 and was promoted to Chief Pilot in 2000. Recognizing Chris's technical competence and strong administrative skills, Sterling elevated Chris to Director of Operations in 2004. His current responsibilities include the oversight of 25 pilots inclusive of all of their training requirements, medical certifications and compliance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and Sterling's high standards of safety. He is the chief liaison with the FAA, TSA, and Milwaukee Airport operations. In addition, Chris creates and maintains strict policies and procedures, international operations manuals and is responsible for the upkeep of the FAA approved company air carrier operations manual. His flying duties include check airman and Captain for the Hawker 800XP and Captain for our wide body Challenger. Born and raised in Sheboygan, Chris was introduced to the aviation world by his father, who manages Sheboygan County Memorial Airport. Chris started flying at the young age of 15 and later enlisted in the Air Force and Air National Guard where he was Crew Chief aboard KC-10's and KC-135 tanker aircraft. After completing a six-year military commitment and becoming a Desert Storm veteran, Chris started his civilian aviation career flying corporate and charter aircraft. He attended Community College of the Air Force, Gateway Technical College and Embry-Riddle University. His 16 years of flying experience also include flight instruction. When his work load allows for some R & R, Chris enjoys boating and golf. He also likes to spend as much time as possible with his wife and three children. He says that his greatest accomplishments this year were teaching his children how to swim and his son to ride a bike without training wheels.

Jon has worked all over the world as a helicopter pilot. Jon works with the FAA as well as the USFS to ensure all of our pilots are meet the high demands set forth by the FAA and Forest Service. Jon has logged well over 8000 hours of flight time in both helicopter and fixed wing aircraft.
When asked why he decided to study medicine and become a doctor, Dr. Joseph Celona explains, "I really feel I have been chosen to do this work. Being able to assist another human being and give them a helping hand throughout their lives; I think that is a great way to spend your life." As a physician in Fallon Clinic's award-winning Occupational Health department, Dr. Celona works with many businesses and industries in the area, balancing the needs of workers and employers to help ensure health and productivity in the workplace. "In occupational health, our job is to keep people functional. It's up to us to address the issues of both the employee and the employer and put them into perspective. For instance, when a worker is injured, aside from offering excellent medical care, the employer has to know how to address productivity issues. Balancing the rehabilitation of the injured patient and the agenda of the employer can be challenging, but that's what we've been trained to do everyday." Fallon Clinic offers the largest comprehensive Occupational Health program in Central Massachusetts. In addition to being an occupational health physician at Fallon Clinic, Dr. Celona evaluates and treats patients as an internist; something he has done since he started at Fallon Clinic in 1975. He is also the onsite medical director for various companies in the Worcester area, including St. Gobian and Morgan Construction. "For St. Gobain, I develop programs that help protect workers exposed to various dusts in addition to taking care of acute injuries and follow-up care. It's our job to not only treat workplace injuries, but help prevent them in the first place." Dr. Celona uses his skills and experience in other areas as well. He is the Federal Aviation Administration's senior examiner for the Worcester area and has been working with pilots for over 23 years. He also provides examinations for ROTC and Marine servicemen as well as police and firemen for area municipalities to help keep them healthy and safe. Dr. Celona is also a visiting scientist in the Occupational and Environmental Medicine program at the Harvard School of Public Health. In 2004, he was honored as Teacher of the Year by residents in the Occupational and Environmental Medicine program. Comments Dr. Celona, "I enjoy all the different roles I have, especially teaching." In addition to teaching, Dr. Celona takes great pleasure in working with his colleagues at Fallon Clinic. "We are all a team here, and there is a real cooperative spirit and mutual respect for one another." Dr. Celona has also built strong relationships with his patients over the years. "There are people I have been caring for since I started my internal medicine practice and working with them is wonderful. They are in many ways like family members to me." When he manages some free time away from his busy practice, Dr. Celona enjoys his family, gardening, and cooking. "I love to cook Italian food and try to use things I grow in my garden. I also love to give away the cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers and other vegetables I grow so my neighbors can enjoy them."
