Kenneth J. Bacon is Fannie Mae's Executive Vice President -- Housing and Community Development. Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Bacon is responsible for the company's Multifamily guaranty book of business, which totaled $173.3 billion as of December 31, 2008. He is also responsible for Community Lending, Community Investment and the company's Low Income Housing Tax Credit business. Linda Knight is Fannie Mae's Executive Vice President -- Enterprise Operations and Securities. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, she is responsible for overseeing the operations teams supporting Single-Family, Housing and Community Development and Capital Markets. Thomas A. Lawler is founder of Lawler Economic & Housing Consulting, LLC, which provides data, analysis and forecasts of housing, mortgage, financial and economic trends — with special focus on regional housing trends — to a select group of clients. Mr. Lawler worked for Fannie Mae for 22 years, first as Director of Financial Economics in 1984, and as a senior vice president from 1989 until he retired from Fannie in January 2006. Mr. Lott manages the firm's litigation support practice providing law firms with strategic advice, research and expert witness services for cases involving mortgage banking issues. He also conducts financial analyses, asset valuations, and strategic planning assignments, and advises clients on all aspects of mortgage banking. He has extensive experience in developing and presenting seminars to mortgage banking executives on financial and operational issues and has been responsible for mortgage banking seminars for Federal and State Regulatory Examiners for several years. Prior to joining Mortgage Dynamics, Inc., he co-founded and managed another national mortgage banking consulting firm. Previously, he was Senior Vice President in charge of Freddie Maciligence reviews and merger/integration projects. She also manages reviews of servicing operations and portfolios of servicing rights that are collateral for operating capital lines of credit extended by warehouse lending syndicates whose members are national banks. She also advises clients on building operations to support major shifts in servicing strategy, such as reliance on subservicers, and selling on a servicing released, flow basis. Ms. Ulsch is also responsible for advising subservicers on maintaining customer service, high quality standards and taking actions to ensure above average servicing ratings. She is responsible for oversight of ARM audits, claims reviews, and other special projects involving servicing expertise. She also advises clients on servicing special loan products, including CRA and other programs targeted to low and moderate income borrowers. Since 1997, Ms. Ulsch has served as an instructor on the faculty of Fannie Mae $700 million portfolio of special loan products. Ms. Ulsch, who has been vice president of loan administration for two companies, joined MDI in March 1994. Judy Wheatley, CMB, Senior Consultant, advises clients on loan production strategies, direct and Internet lending, and operations, including process workflow. She has extensive experience with automated underwriting systems and their use at various points in the production process. She has been in demonstration AU projects with Fannie Mae and a MI company since 1997. Before joining MDI, she spent 11 years with a mortgage company in the positions of vice president of operations and director of underwriting. She gained extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, and operations integration as the company, initially known as First Advantage Mortgage Corp., purchased Entrust Financial Corp of Atlanta, then was purchased by Long Island Savings Bank, which was purchased by Astoria Federal Mortgage Corporation in Columbia, Maryland. Ms. Wheatley also has extensive experience with special loan products, including conventional and FHA rehab mortgages, community homebuyer and housing finance authority loans.
