George D. Williams, Sr., DPA, President & CEO of Diversity Dynamics, LLC., is a public policy and organizational development professional. He has exceptional knowledge, skill and ability assessing and developing effective interventions and training for cross cultural challenges, fair housing, equal opportunity and other diversity related issues. Dr. Williams' professional experience includes, Human Relations Director for the City of Springfield, Ohio and Executive Director of the San Diego County Human Relations Commission . James H. Carr is senior vice president of Research for the Fannie Mae Foundation, which is the largest foundation in the country devoted to increasing the supply of homes for those who need them the most, and a visiting professor of urban planning at Columbia University. He is responsible for the Foundation's housing finance and neighborhood strategies consulting unit, its nationally and internationally recognized Office of Housing Research, and its program evaluation activities. He is also responsible for the development of technology tools to promote effective community investment. Prior to his appointment to the Foundation, Carr served as vice president for housing research at Fannie Mae, assistant director for tax policy with the U.S. Senate Budget Committee, and research associate at the Center for Urban Policy Research at Rutgers University. Carr's speeches have been awarded top honors, including the "Best of the Best" award, the "Award of Excellence", and the "Award of Merit" by the International Association of Business Communicators. He has also been published in Vital Speeches of the Day. Mr. Kenneth Smith, a member of the Wasco Tribe, serves as the Chairman of the Board for Warm Springs Ventures. He is President of Ken Smith & Associates, a company established in 1985 that specializes in American Indian Affairs. The firm provides advice and technical assistance in economic development projects. Mr. Smith served as General Manager/Secretary-Treasurer for the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs for ten years. He began his employment with the Tribe in 1959 and served in a number of positions, starting as an accountant, followed by senior accountant, controller/assistant general manager, and finally to the General Manager/Secretary-Treasurer position in 1971. The Tribe established a strong, effective government and self-sustaining economic development program under Mr. Smith?s direction. Enterprises at that time included a profitable timber industry, a resort-hotel complex, and a hydro-electric power plant. In 1981 Mr. Smith resigned to accept the position of Assistant Secretary of the Interior-Indian Affairs, under the Reagan Administration. He served in this position from May, 1981 to December, 1984. Mr. Smith served as Chief Executive Officer/Secretary-Treasurer for the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs from 1989-1995. In those six years he was instrumental in the construction of the Museum at Warm Springs, the Early Childhood Education Center, and the Health and Wellness Center. He signed a joint-venture agreement that launched a breakthrough in diatomaceous earth technology, bringing about the creation of Warm Springs Composite Products and initiated the gaming enterprise process, both of which have proved valuable as a significant source of employment and income to the Tribe. Mr. Smith has 46 years of experience in Indian Country ranging from an accountant to the top leadership job as Assistant Secretary of Interior in charge of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Presently, Mr. Smith is Chairman of the Board of the Coquille Economic Development Corporation in North Bend, Oregon; a member of the Geo-Visions board, a member of the Kah-Nee-Ta High Desert Resort & Casino board of directors, and the Museum at Warm Springs board of directors. He has served on multiple boards including the Redding Rancheria Economic Development Corporation, High Desert Museum of Bend, Oregon, Futures for Children, National Board of the Smithsonian, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco Portland Branch, World Forestry Center Council, State Board of Education, United States National Bank of Oregon, Oregon Business Council, US West Communications, Inter-Tribal Timber Council, and the State Banking Board for the State of Oregon. Patricia E. Yarrington is vice president and chief financial officer of Chevron Corporation, a position she assumed in January 2009. A native of Orange, N.J., Yarrington earned a bachelor's degree in political science in 1977 from Pomona College in Claremont, Calif., and a master's degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, in Evanston, Ill. Yarrington joined Chevron in 1980 and held various financial and analytical positions in the corporation and Chevron U.S.A. Inc. In 1986, she was named manager of investor relations for the corporation. She went on to hold supervisory positions of increasing responsibility in Chevron Products Co., Chevron U.S.A. Production Co., and Chevron Research and Technology Co. In 1995, she was named manager of credit card enterprises for marketing department of Chevron Products Co. In June 1997, she was named comptroller for Chevron Products Co. In March 1998, she was appointed president of Chevron Canada Ltd., a petroleum products refining and marketing company, headquartered in Vancouver, B.C. In August 2000, Yarrington was named vice president of strategic planning for Chevron, responsible for advising senior corporate executives in setting strategic direction, allocating capital, determining operating unit performance measures and targets, and significant mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. In November 2002, she was named vice president of policy, government and public affairs for Chevron. In this capacity, she oversaw U.S. and international government relations, all aspects of corporate communications, and the company's worldwide efforts in community outreach. In April 2007, she was named corporate vice president and treasurer of Chevron Corporation. In this capacity, she oversaw the company's financing strategies and cash management activities. Yarrington is on the board of directors of Chevron Phillips Chemical Co., a 50-50 joint venture with ConocoPhillips Petroleum, one of the world's top commodity chemicals producers. Yarrington currently serves on the San Francisco Federal Reserve's Board of Directors.
