Alan Smith joined Genzyme in 1989. He has overall responsibility for the company’s science. David P. Meeker, M.D. is President of the LSD (Lysosomal Storage Diseases) Therapeutics business unit of Genzyme Corporation. Jim Shuman is Senior Vice President of Materials Management at Genzyme Corporation, one of the world's leading biotechnology companies.
