Frederick W. Smith is chairman, president and chief executive officer of FedEx Corporation, a global transportation, business services and logistics company. Smith is responsible for providing strategic direction for all FedEx Corporation operating companies, including FedEx Services, FedEx Express, FedEx Ground and FedEx Freight. Since founding FedEx in 1971, Smith has been an active proponent of regulatory reform, free trade and "open skies agreements" for aviation around the world. FedEx has continued to strengthen its industry leadership over the past 35 years, and has been widely acknowledged for its commitment to total quality service. FedEx Express was the first service company to win the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 1990. FedEx has consistently been ranked on FORTUNE magazine’s industry lists, including “World’s Most Admired Companies,” “America’s Most Admired Companies,” “100 Best Companies to Work For” and is on FORTUNE’s “Blue Ribbon Companies List." Smith has served on the boards of several large public companies and the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Mayo Foundation Boards. He was formerly chairman of the Board of Governors for the International Air Transport Association and the U.S. Air Transport Association. Smith is a member of the Business Roundtable, the CATO Institute and is co-chairman of the Energy Security Leadership Council. He served as chairman of the U.S.-China Business Council and is the current chairman of the French-American Business Council. In addition, Smith received the Circle of Honor Award from the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation and was named 2006 Person of the Year by the French-American Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Aviation Hall of Fame, served as co-chairman of the U.S. World War II Memorial Project, and was named CHIEF EXECUTIVE magazine’s 2004 “CEO of the Year.” Born in 1944 in Marks, Miss., Smith attended Yale University, where he earned a B.A. in 1966. Smith served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966-1970.

Alan B. Graf, Jr., is executive vice president and chief financial officer of FedEx Corporation. His responsibilities include all aspects of FedEx Corporation’s global financial functions, including financial planning, treasury, tax, accounting and controls, internal audit and corporate development. Graf is a member of the five-person Executive Committee, which is responsible for planning and executing the corporation’s strategic business activities. Before FedEx Corporation was formed in January 1998, Graf served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of FedEx Express. He joined the company in 1980 as a senior financial analyst and has held management positions throughout the Finance division. Graf was born in Evansville, Ind. He earned his bachelor’s degree and his master’s degree in business administration from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he is a member of the Academy of Alumni Fellows. He serves on the Board of Directors for NIKE Inc., Mid-America Apartment Communities Inc., and Methodist Healthcare. He is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at the Kelley School of Business, is a trustee for the University of Memphis Herff Trust and serves as president of the University of Memphis Athletic Scholarship Fund.

T. Michael Glenn is executive vice president of Market Development and Corporate Communications of FedEx Corporation. Glenn also serves as president and chief executive officer of FedEx Services. In this role, he leads all marketing, sales, and communications across the FedEx operating companies and is responsible for the FedExOffice and Global Supply Chain Services business units. In addition, Glenn is a member of the five-person Executive Committee, which plans and executes the corporation’s strategic business activities. Before FedEx Corporation was formed in January 1998, Glenn was senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, Customer Service and Corporate Communications for FedEx Express. In that position, he was responsible for directing all marketing, customer service, employee communications and public relations activities. Glenn joined FedEx in 1981 and has held several leadership positions in the Sales and Marketing divisions. Born in Memphis, Tenn., Glenn earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi and his master’s degree from the University of Memphis. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Pentair, Inc., Renasant Bank, Autism Speaks and the United Way of the Mid-South.

Mr. Manatt is the founder of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. He began his legal career focusing on banking and financial services. Mr. Manatt's practice currently focuses on international, administrative, and corporate law. On July 1, 2001, Mr. Manatt became Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The George Washington University. He serves on the Board of the Wesley Foundation, the Mayo Foundation, the National Legal Center for the Public Interest, and the Smithsonian Museum of American History and is a member of the National Endowment for Democracy. In September 2004, Mr. Manatt re-joined the Board of Directors of FedEx Corp. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Oak Value Management Inc. Mr. Manatt most recently served as the U.S. Ambassador to the Dominican Republic from 1999 to March 2001.

Gary Loveman is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. A former associate professor at the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration, Loveman joined the Fortune 500 company as Chief Operating Officer in 1998 and drew on his extensive background in retail marketing and service-management to develop and implement the gaming industry's most successful loyalty program, Total Rewards. Today, Total Rewards boasts more than 40 million customers and is largely responsible for the company's consistent same-store sales gains. Since being named CEO in January 2003, Loveman has presided over a period of growth and profitability that culminated in Harrah's June 2005 acquisition of Caesars Entertainment, Inc. -- at $9.4 billion, the largest single transaction in the industry's history. In December 2006, Harrah's agreed to go private in a $29 billion transaction led by private equity firms Texas Pacific Group and Apollo. Harrah's performance has led to its inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, a group of international companies noted for creating long-term shareholder value, for six consecutive years. It also earned Loveman the distinction of being recognized as the gaming and lodging industry's best CEO by Institutional Investor magazine for four consecutive years. Loveman is the chairman of the American Gaming Association and an outside director of Coach, Inc. He also sits on the Board of Trustees at Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston and on the Trust Board at Children's Hospital Boston. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from M.I.T., where he was an Alfred Sloan Doctoral Dissertation Fellow, and a B.A. in economics from Wesleyan University.

John Edwardson is chairman of the board of directors, chief executive officer and executive committee member of CDW, a leading provider of technology products and services for business, government and education. Edwardson is responsible for the strategic direction of the company and leading the senior management team. Edwardson joined CDW in 2001. Previously, he served as chairman and chief executive officer of Burns International Services Corporation (1999-2000) and as a director (1994-1998), president (1994-1998) and chief operating officer (1995-1998) of UAL Corporation and United Airlines. Prior to UAL Corporation and United Airlines, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Ameritech Corporation (1991-1994). Edwardson is a 1971 graduate of Purdue University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering and a 1972 graduate of the University of Chicago where he earned a master's degree in business administration. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of FedEx Corporation and the Board of Trustees for The Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Art Institute of Chicago and the Ravinia Festival. Edwardson also serves on the Advisory Council of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Dr. Jackson, age 62, has served as a director of NYSE Euronext and its predecessors since November 2003. Dr. Jackson is also the chairperson of the board of directors of NYSE Regulation and serves on the Board of Governors of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Dr. Jackson has been president of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since 1999. From 1995 to 1999, she was chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Dr. Jackson also serves as a director of Federal Express Corporation, Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated, Marathon Oil Corporation, International Business Machines Corporation and Medtronic, Inc. (all U.S. corporations). Dr. Jackson is both a former president and chairman of the board of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). She is also a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the American Philosophical Society and is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a number of other professional organizations. Dr. Jackson serves as a trustee of the Brookings Institution and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She is a life member of the M.I.T. Corporation (the M.I.T. Board of Trustees).
