Dominique Goupil has served as President of FileMaker, Inc. (and its predecessor Claris Corp.), since 1997. FileMaker is a leading worldwide provider of database software for workgroups and individuals. Under Goupil's leadership, FileMaker has shipped more than a million software units in each of its two last fiscal years and now serves an installed base of more than eight million customers. FileMaker has been profitable every quarter since its inception in 1998. Prior to joining Claris in 1994, Goupil held executive positions in international sales and marketing in Europe, Japan, and the United States. He holds an MBA degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and a business degree from Ecole Superieure de Commerce in Rouen, France.
Takanobu Miyamoto has served as Vice President at FileMaker, Inc., a worldwide leader in desktop-to-Web database software since 1996. Miyamoto, a veteran sales and marketing executive with 14 years of experience in the software industry, joined Claris in March, 1993 as vice president of sales and marketing of Claris Japan, a Claris subsidiary. He was promoted to president of Claris Japan in October, 1993. Under his leadership as president, Claris Japan was the company's fastest-growing region, with revenues increasing by a factor of nearly 20 to record levels. Claris Japan grew to account for more than 30 percent of the company's worldwide revenue. Since Claris reorganized to become FileMaker, Inc. in early 1998, Miyamoto has served as president of FileMaker Japan. Prior to joining Claris, he served as contract manager and sales manager (1985-88) and vice president (1989-92) of Digital Research Japan, Inc., where he held various sales, marketing and administrative roles and oversaw major growth in sales. Miyamoto earned bachelor's and master's degrees in economics from Waseda University, Japan.

As Vice President, International, Keith Harris leads international sales and marketing for FileMaker, Inc., a worldwide leader in desktop-to-Web database software. Harris joined the company in March, 1996. He is a veteran senior executive with nearly 20 years experience in technology sales, and deep knowledge of and relationships with European distributors and marketplaces. Harris served as general manager and vice president of Europe for Radius, Inc. for two years prior to joining the company. He led Radius Europe to constant growth and profitability during this time. He became managing director of Radius in the United Kingdom in 1990, and added responsibility for Germany and central European operations in 1993. Prior to Radius, Harris held various sales and marketing management positions for Rank Xerox from 1978-90, including channels management, and the responsibility for U.K. sales and distribution of Ventura Software. Lucy Chen is Vice President of Product Release Engineering for FileMaker, Inc., a worldwide leader in information-management software. She leads engineering teams responsible for software quality assurance (SQA), localization, instructional media (publications), software configuration management, as well as build and installers teams. She also manages outsourcing of internationalization and localization via vendors in Europe and Japan. Chen has more than 13 years of software product development experience, and has helped lead product development, SQA, internationalization, localization and outsourcing vendor management for award-winning software. Chen was senior engineering director for the worldwide product development group at FileMaker from 1995 to 2000. Her team created many products localized in French, Italian, German, Swedish, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. At Adobe Systems and previously Aldus Corp., from 1989 to 1995, Chen served in several positions including engineering manager, localization manager, engineer and SQA engineer. She built the international product team for PageMaker, FreeHand, Persuasion, Illustrator, PhotoShop and Fetch. Her team delivered many products for major European, Asian, Arabic and South American markets. Chen received an M.S. degree in information systems management, and a Master of Education degree in curriculum and instruction, from Seattle Pacific University.

Karyn has been working with FileMaker since version 2.1. She joined The Support Group after spending 4 years working as an independent FileMaker consultant. Prior to that she spent 5 years at Image Info, Inc., a New York City based company specializing in FileMaker software for the fashion and apparel industry, starting as a developer and eventually being promoted to Director of Development. Karyn also spent several years in the fashion industry, as Production Manager for a manufacturing company before moving on to work for an events producer on fashion shows. Karyn is taking ballroom dance lessons and she's really good!
Laura Bowyer is President and Founder of SolutionMakers, Inc. which began operations in October 1995. The company has widened its scope of industries to include health and medical, education, publishing and general business in addition to its broad range of products and services developed for its original niche market: business management software tools designed for the construction and architecture industries. Laura has been working with FileMaker since 1993. A varied work background as wholesale and mail order sales manager, wholesale director, catering director, packaging engineer, construction contract and project manager, sales rep, office manager, and entertainment booking coordinator allows Laura to have a greater understanding of business process. Laura is also Chapter Coordinator for the local FMPug (FileMaker Professional Users Group). Laura is a FileMaker 8 Certified Developer and has been a FileMaker Solutions Alliance Associate member since 1997.
