Forest Oil is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of natural gas and liquids in North America as well as selected international locations. Co. operates in five business units: Western U.S., Eastern U.S., Southern U.S., Canada and International as well as geographical segments including the U.S., Canada and International. As of Dec 31 2007, Co.'s total estimated proved reserves, which amounted to 2.10 trillion cubic feet of natural gas equivalent, and producing properties were all located in North America with approximately 85.0% of its estimated proved oil and gas reserves were in the U.S., approximately 12.0% in Canada and approximately 3.0% were in Italy.
