Fortis

Mr. Haughey, 52, joined the Fortis Inc. Board in May 2009. From 1999 through 2008, Mr. Haughey held several executive roles with Spectra Energy and predecessor companies. He had overall responsibility for its western Canadian natural gas midstream business, was President and Chief Executive Officer of Spectra Energy Income Fund and also led Spectra's strategic development and mergers and acquisition teams based in Houston, Texas. Mr. Haughey is a director of Enerflex Systems Income Fund and Pembina Pipeline Income Fund.

Mr. Crothers, 64, joined the Fortis Inc. Board in May 2007. Over the past 35 years, Mr. Crothers has served on many public and private sector boards. He served a three-year term as Chairman of CARILEC, the Caribbean Association of Electrical Utilities. Mr. Crothers is the former President of P.P.C. Limited, which was acquired by Fortis Inc. in August 2006. He serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Caribbean Utilities Company, Limited and serves on the Board of Belize Electricity Limited. Mr. Crothers also serves as a Director of Franklin Templeton Resources, Talon Metal Corp., Fidelity Merchant Bank & Trust Cayman (Cayman) Limited and Victory Nickel Inc.

Ms. Goodreau, 57, joined the Fortis Inc. Board in May 2009. She was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Lifelabs, Canada's largest provider of community laboratory services, in March 2009. She joined Lifelabs from Vancouver Coastal Health Authority where she was President and Chief Executive Officer since 2002. Prior to entering the health care field, Ms. Goodreau held senior leadership roles in several Canadian and international pulp and paper and natural gas companies. She has served on numerous private and public sector boards and is currently a Director of Terasen Inc.

Wayne Watson is a Director of the corporation. Mr. Watson is a former Vice-President of finance of CanJam Trading Limited. Prior thereto, he was the President of Wayne Watson Consulting since January 2000. Prior thereto, he was the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Finance, of Fortis Inc. (a company listed on the TSX) since April 1992 to May 26, 2000.

Ronald W. McCabe is Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Fortis Inc. He has served in this position since 1997. Mr. McCabe is a native of Montreal, Canada. He received a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University. Mr. McCabe is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland, Nova Scotia Barristers Society and Canadian Bar Association. Prior to his current position at Fortis, Mr. McCabe practiced corporate law and was in-house counsel to two airlines.

Frankie is the Managing Partner of Fortis Consulting Group LLC. Frankie graduated from Rutgers College School of Business, Magna Cum Laude, with a BS degree in Accounting. Frankie continued his education at Monmouth University, where he graduated at the top of his MBA class. Upon graduation from Rutgers, he joined the international public accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP where he performed the audit function for a variety of clients. In addition, while at Deloitte & Touche, Frankie was the chairperson of the On-campus Recruiting Committee and Mentor Committee from which he gained valuable recruiting experience.

Remi is one of the two Partners at Fortis Consulting Group, LLC. Remi graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Accounting. At Michigan State, Remi was a three-time varsity letter winner in Lacrosse as well as a three time academic all-Big Ten Award winner. After graduating MSU, Remi joined the audit group at Deloitte & Touche. While at D&T, Remi became a CPA and worked on some of the firm's largest clients. He was also part of D&T's mentor program and helped recruit some of the top college graduates in the area.

Damon Monteferrante is the Director of Temporary Services at Fortis Consulting Group, LLC. Damon Graduated from State University College at Oneonta NY, with a BS degree in Business Economics. After graduating Damon started his business career with Ciba-Geigy Corporation. During his 7-year career he worked his way up through the Credit and Financial Service departments and played a key role in the corporate spin-off of Ciba Specialty Chemicals. Damon was exposed to many areas of accounting, finance and was project manager for many key initiatives. Using his experience, he took a position in accounting and financial recruiting, where he worked for a major recruiting firm. He rose quickly to become Director of the Temporary Division in just over 1 year and was one of the top temporary recruiters on the east coast. Damon has joined Fortis Consulting Group, LLC, as his work ethic, professionalism and integrity are a perfect fit to grow Fortis' newest temporary division and give clients and candidates the excellent service they deserve.

Dr. Anoop Misra is presently the Director of Department of Diabetes & Metabolic Diseases Fortis Hospitals, New Delhi. He joined Fortis after 10 distinguished years as Professor of Internal Medicine, Head, Diabetes and Metabolism Research Group, and Incharge, Clinical Pharmacology Unit at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. He has worked in best hospitals internationally; as a faculty member of the Department of Endocrinology at the Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas USA. He was also the World Health Organization fellow at Royal Free Hospital, UK (2000) and University of Texas (1996). Presently, he is also faculty at Indian Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Dr Misra is an internationally acclaimed researcher and scientists. He has been a member of a number of national and international policy and decision-making bodies in internal medicine, diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular diseases. He has been a member of WHO and ICMR Expert Groups for Childhood Obesity (2005, 2006), and in WHO Expert Committee for Appropriate Measures Of Obesity In Asian Populations (2005). He has been a key member for National Control Programs for Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease, India, and in various top-level national committees set up by Health Ministry, Planning Commission, Indian Council of Medical research, Dept. of Biotechnology, Department of Science and Technology, and the World Health Organization. He has been in Health Ministry committees for developing national guidelines in drugs and pharmaceuticals, and is a member of National Pharmacovigilance Committee, Indian Pharmacopoeia and is in monitoring committees for National Institute of Nutrition (Hyderabad) and Department of Biotechnology. He is Chief Scientific Advisor, Diabetes Foundation (India), and core committee member of Diabetes India Dr Misra has published more than 200 scientific papers in the international journals. He has received several prestigious orations and awards including the highest award for medicine in India: Dr BC Roy award (2006), and S.N. Tripathy Memorial Oration (2003), Prof. Austin E. Doyle Oration (2004), Dr K.L. Wig Oration (2005), Sam G. Moses Oration (2005), Prof. B.R. Sengupta Oration (2005), Searle Oration (2006), and Amar Sen Oration (2006). He has several important new scientific findings to his credit. He is in editorial boards of five international journals on diabetes and metabolic disorders including: 'Nutrition, Metabolism, and Cardiovascular Diseases (Italy)', 'Metabolic Syndrome and Related Disorders (USA)', Diabetes Research and Clinical Practice' (UK), 'International Diabetes Monitor (Sweden)', and 'Medical Science Monitor (USA), and is Associate Editor of "Diabetes and Metabolic Syndrome: Research and Reviews (Singapore). He is also one of the editors of "Year Book of Diabetes, 2006". He is reviewer for several prestigious international journals including 'The Lancet'. 'Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism' and 'Circulation". He has carried out several international multicenter collaborative clinical research studies with Universities in USA, Canda, UK, The Netherlands, and Australia. He has served as Personal Physician to two former Prime Ministers of India. In 2007, he has been awarded National Honour, Padma Shri. Dr Misra has started several large-scale community outreach programs. He has imparted health education to poor people in urban slums (A DST funded project), and presently to school children (in collaboration with NGOs) and women (Nationwide study, funded by DST). Dr Misra has also initiated health education and awareness program for nutrition and lifestyle of schoolchildren in several cities of north India aided by grant from World Diabetes Foundation, Denmark.

Casey is a Consultant with Fortis Consulting Group LLC. Casey graduated from Kean University, with a BS degree in Accounting. Upon graduation, he joined a start up manufacturing company Laminating Corporation of America (later renamed LACOA) as a staff accountant. During his 9 year Tenure with LACOA Casey worked his way up the ladder ultimately becoming Controller. It was in this role that he played an integral part in the growth and ultimate sale of the company to one of LACOA's largest customers. In his role as Controller of rapidly growing organization Casey learned early on the importance of finding and retaining the most talented and dedicated of employees. Since 2001 Casey has focused his career on assisting others grow their organizations as a consultant with Fortis LLC.

Craig Horton serves as Chairman of the Board of WorkWell Systems, Inc. As Managing Director for SSDC Corp., Mr. Horton is the chief executive responsible for the growth and development of the company in its disability related coordination of benefits services. He is also Vice President of SSDC's parent company Assurant Employee Benefits. SSDC is a leading provider of Social Security and Medicare related benefits coordination and data management services to large employer markets. Prior to SSDC, Mr. Horton was a co-founder of CORE in 1990 when he was a leader of the leveraged buyout of the company from Baxter Healthcare. He served as the President, Chief Operating Officer and member of the board of directors of CORE during its eleven years of operation as private, then public company. Mr. Horton was a key executive participant in the decision and process that led to the acquisition of CORE by Fortis, Inc. in July 2001 and served as the transition officer following its acquisition. He also served as the Fortis representative on the Washington Business Group on Health's Employer Health and Productivity Council and is a member, sponsor and frequent speaker at other disability and productivity councils and associations including: Integrated Benefits Institute (IBI); Disability Management Employer's Coalition (DMEC); and the National Institute of Disability Management and Research (NIDMAR). Mr. Horton received his B.A. (magna cum laude), MBA and MPH degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Ian Gilmour is a Director of LRC and is also the founder of Pelican Consulting Ltd, a partner of LRC. Ian provides the technology capability to deploy the knowhow of LRC and work with clients to realise their goals. He led the development team at Deutsche Bank for LiMA. He is also a principal consultant on a live Liquidity Risk project with Fortis.

Joe Belko is a recruiting specialist with Fortis. After graduating from the University of Louisiana, he began his career with a family owned business. Working directly under the CFO, his initial responsibilities were associated with the development of a newly formed division. In this role he worked closely with the accounting department on all budgeting and forecasting and also with the sales department on the development of their business plan. Building on this experience, Joe entered the financial services industry when he joined a boutique investment bank in Princeton. From there he moved to the world's largest brokerage firm where he continued to develop his understanding of the accounting and finance industries. During his tenure with these companies, Joe gained valuable experience in understanding the different positions within the business world and how to gain the expeirence to propel a career to the next level.

Ryan Murphy is a Consultant with Fortis Consulting Group, LLC. He graduated from Pace University with a BBA in Finance. Upon graduation, he joined a medical communications company called Health Care Communications (HCC), Inc. as a Staff Accountant. During his 4 years with the company he worked his way up to Accounting Manager before leaving for a better opportunity as the Controller for All-Waste Systems, Inc. Ryan worked there for 2 years until the company was sold and he found another Controller's position at a mid-sized company in New York City. After a few years in this position, he realized that his true calling wasn't in the accounting field but actually in recruiting for accounting and finance professionals. In the summer of 2001, Ryan took his work experience, professionalism and tremendous desire to help others to the Fortis Consulting Group.

Valerie is my beloved wife. We get to know each other at the University of Namur. She studied Economics, with Computer Science at first. She failed her second candidature and that's were we get to know. She later on succeeded and got her Master in Economics. She is now working at Fortis, as Corporate Credit Assistant for large businesses.

Mr. McWatters, 63, joined the Fortis Inc. Board in May 2007. He is the founder and past President of Sumac Ridge Estate Wine Group. Mr. McWatters is President of Harry McWatters Inc., Vintage Consulting Group Inc., Okanagan Wine Academy and Black Sage Vineyards Ltd. He was appointed Chair of the Board of FortisBC Inc. in 2006. Mr. McWatters has been a Director of FortisBC Inc. since 2005 and a Director of Terasen Inc. since November 2007.

Mr. Rideout, 61, joined the Fortis Inc. Board in March 2001 and is Chair of the Human Resources Committee of the Board. He retired as Chairman and CEO of Clarke Inc. in October 2002. Prior to 1998, Mr. Rideout served as President of Newfoundland Capital Corporation Limited and held senior executive positions in the Canadian airline industry. He also serves as a Director of the Halifax International Airport Authority and NAV CANADA.

Mr. Case, 51, joined the Fortis Inc. Board in May 2005. He has been a consultant to the utility industry since 2003, following his retirement as Executive Director, Institutional Equity Research at CIBC World Markets. Prior to this position, he was Managing Director at BMO Nesbitt Burns. Mr. Case has been a Director of FortisOntario Inc. since March 2003.

Mr. Munkley, 62, joined the Fortis Inc. Board in May 2009. He retired in April 2009 as Vice Chairman and Head of the Power and Utility Business of CIBC World Markets. Mr. Munkley has acted as lead advisor on most Canadian utility merger and acquisition transactions since joining CIBC World Markets in 1998. Prior to that, he was employed at Enbridge Consumers Gas for 27 years, culminating as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Munkley led Enbridge Consumers Gas through deregulation and restructuring in the 1990s.

Mr. Rideout, 58, joined the Fortis Inc. Board in May 2001. He retired as Chairman and CEO of Clarke Inc. in October 2002. Prior to 1998, Mr. Rideout served as President of Newfoundland Capital Corporation Limited. He also serves as a director of the Halifax International Airport Authority, Oceanex Inc. and NAV CANADA.
