Fortress Investment Group LLC

Mr. Novogratz is a President and a member of the board of directors of Fortress Investment Group LLC. Mr. Novogratz has been a principal and a member of the Management Committee of Fortress since March 2002. Mr. Novogratz is responsible for the liquid hedge fund business which includes running the Drawbridge Global Macro Funds. Prior to joining Fortress, Mr. Novogratz spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs, where he became a partner in 1998. Mr. Novogratz held the positions of president of Goldman Sachs Latin America and the head of Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities Risk in Asia, where he lived from 1992 to 1999. Mr. Novogratz received a B.A. from Princeton University, and served as a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Briger is a President and a member of the board of directors of Fortress Investment Group LLC. Mr. Briger has been a principal and a member of the Management Committee of Fortress since March 2002. Mr. Briger is responsible for the hybrid hedge fund business which includes running the Drawbridge Special Opportunities Funds. Prior to joining Fortress, Mr. Briger spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs, where he became a partner in 1996. Over the course of his career at Goldman Sachs, he held the positions of co-head of the Whole Loan Sales and Trading business, co-head of the Fixed Income Principal Investments Group, co-head of the Asian Distressed Debt business, co-head of the Goldman Sachs Special Opportunities (Asia) Fund LLC and co-head of the Asian Real Estate Private Equity business. In addition, he was a member of the Goldman Sachs Global Control and Compliance Committee, a member of the Goldman Sachs Asian Management Committee and a member of the Goldman Sachs Japan Executive Committee. Mr. Briger received a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Wharton. Mr. Briger currently serves on the board of directors of the Princeton University Investment Company.

Mr. Kauffman is the President (Europe) and a member of the board of directors of Fortress Investment Group LLC. Mr. Kauffman has been a principal and a member of the Management Committee of Fortress since co-founding the Company in 1998. Mr. Kauffman is responsible for the management of Fortress’s European private equity investment operations. Mr. Kauffman is the Chairman of the board of directors of GAGFAH S.A. and Alea Group Holdings (Bermuda) Ltd. Prior to joining Fortress, Mr. Kauffman was a managing director of UBS from May 1997 to May 1998, and prior to that, was a principal of BlackRock Financial Management Inc. Mr. Kauffman was with Lehman Brothers from 1986 to 1994 and served as an executive director of Lehman Brothers International in London beginning in 1992. Mr. Kauffman received a B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

Mr. Bass joined Fortress as Chief Financial Officer in November 2003. Prior to joining Fortress, Mr. Bass spent 11 years at Deutsche Bank. Over the course of his career at Deutsche Bank, he held the positions of managing director of DB Capital Partners and managing director, Global Business Area Controller of Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Investments Division. Prior to that, Mr. Bass was a Senior Associate in the International Tax Practice at Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Bass received both a B.S. and a Masters in Accounting from Florida State University.

Erik P. Nygaard has been our Chief Information Officer since our inception and Chief Information Officer of our manager, an affiliate of Fortress Investment Group LLC, since its inception. Mr. Nygaard co-founded our manager. Mr. Nygaard is also a Vice President and the Chief Information Officer of Newcastle Investment Holdings Corp. Mr. Nygaard was previously a Managing Director of Union Bank of Switzerland from May 1997 to May 1998. Prior to joining Union Bank of Switzerland, Mr. Nygaard was a principal of BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. From April 1990 to July 1994, Mr. Nygaard was a Director at Nomura Securities International.

Randal A. Nardone has been our Secretary since our inception. Mr. Nardone is the Chief Operating Officer and a member of the board of directors of Fortress Investment Group LLC. Mr. Nardone has been a principal and a member of the Management Committee of Fortress since co-founding Fortress in 1998. Mr. Nardone oversees Fortress’s structured finance and legal matters. Mr. Nardone is a director of Alea Group Holdings (Bermuda) Ltd, GAGFAH S.A. and Eurocastle Investment Limited. Mr. Nardone is also a Vice President and the Secretary of Newcastle Investment Holdings LLC (the predecessor of Newcastle). Mr. Nardone was previously a managing director of UBS from May 1997 to May 1998. Prior to joining UBS in 1997, Mr. Nardone was a principal of BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Nardone was a partner and a member of the executive committee at the law firm of Thacher Proffitt & Wood.

Kenneth M. Riis was appointed Chief Executive Officer by our board of directors on February 21, 2007. On that date, Mr. Riis was also unanimously elected as one of our directors. Mr. Riis has been our President since our inception and a Managing Director of our manager, an affiliate of Fortress Investment Group LLC, since December 2001. Mr. Riis is also the President of Newcastle Investment Holdings LLC (the predecessor of Newcastle). From November 1996 to December 2001, Mr. Riis was an independent consultant for our manager as well as other financial companies. From 1989 to 1996, Mr. Riis was a Principal and Managing Director of the real estate finance group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

J Gregory Milmoe is a corporate lawyer who has played a leadership role in numerous restructurings, acquisitions and financings. Mr Milmoe (who co-leads the firm's corporate restructuring group) brings to his practice wide-ranging corporate experience of in-court and out-of-court restructurings, hostile and negotiated mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and corporate financings including initial public offerings. He draws on this experience to help fashion pragmatic, sometimes novel, solutions to complex problems that frequently blend and adapt techniques from various legal disciplines. For example, Mr Milmoe represented the consortium that successfully bailed out Long Term Capital. During his career, Mr Milmoe has led the firm's representation in numerous significant matters including: Aurora Foods (debtors), Vlasic Foods (debtors), Exodus Communications (debtors), Genuity Inc (company), ICG Communications (debtors), Alamosa (company), Revlon Inc (company), Fairfield Manufacturing (company), Mirant (company), ITC^DeltaCom Inc (company), Radio Unica (debtors), Viatel Inc (debtors), e.Spire Communications (debtors), Abraxis Petroleum (creditors), Verizon Wireless (in its acquisition of Nextel), McKesson (in its acquisition of Foxmeyer Corp), Fortress Investment Group (in various acquisitions and investments including Pinnacle, Brookdale and NBA), and Dean Foods' acquisition of assets from Parmalat USA. During the mid-1990s, Mr Milmoe was active on behalf of underwriters in initial and follow-on public offerings for real estate investment trusts (Reits) as well as Reit-related merger and acquisition work. In a more traditional corporate vein, Mr Milmoe regularly represents JLL Partners, Fortress Investment Group and various respective portfolio companies in merger and acquisition and financing matters. Mr Milmoe lectures on fiduciary and restructuring issues for legal and business audiences. He is listed in the K&A Restructuring Register, the peer group listing of the top restructuring attorneys and financial advisors in the US; is listed as a leader in the corporate restructuring and insolvency field both in Chambers' Global and Chambers' USA; and has been named by Turnarounds & Workouts to its list of the top dozen restructuring lawyers in America.

Wesley R. Edens is the Chairman of the board of directors and the Chief Executive Officer of Fortress Investment Group LLC ( Fortress ). Mr. Edens has been a principal and the Chairman of the Management Committee of FIG LLC ( FIG ) since co-founding FIG in May 1998. Mr. Edens is responsible for the Fortress private equity and publicly traded alternative investment businesses. He is also the Chairman of the board of directors of each of Aircastle Limited, Brookdale Senior Living Inc., Eurocastle Investment Limited, GateHouse Media, Inc., Mapeley Limited and Newcastle Investment Corp. and a director of GAGFAH S.A. Mr. Edens served as the Chief Executive Officer of Newcastle Investment Corp. since inception until February 2007. Mr. Edens was the Chief Executive Officer of Global Signal Inc. from February 2004 to April 2006 and the Chairman of the board of directors from October 2002 to January 2007. Mr. Edens serves in various capacities in the following five registered investment companies: Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Trustee of Fortress Registered Investment Trust and Fortress Investment Trust II; Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fortress Brookdale Investment Fund LLC and Fortress Pinnacle Investment Fund LLC and Chief Executive Officer of RIC Coinvestment Fund LP. Prior to forming Fortress, Mr. Edens was a partner and a managing director of BlackRock Financial Management Inc., where he headed BlackRock Asset Investors, a private equity fund. In addition, Mr. Edens was formerly a partner and a managing director of Lehman Brothers. Mr. Edens received a B.S. in Finance from Oregon State University.

Self-employed investor since 2003. Executive Vice President and Treasurer for FleetBoston Financial Group from 1995 to 2003. His career began at Citibank in 1972, where he ultimately assumed the position of Division Executive for the Investment Banking Group’s MBS Group. Mr. Jacobs’ other directorships include Fortress Investment Group LLC (a publicly traded company) from 2007 to the present. Previous directorships include ACA Capital Holdings, Inc. (formerly a publicly traded company) from 2004 to 2008 and Global Signal, Inc (formerly a publicly traded company) from 2004 to 2007. Age 61.

Dr. Haass has been a member of Fortress Investment Group’s board of directors since February 2007. Dr. Haass is president of the Council on Foreign Relations, a position he has held since July 2003. Prior to his current position, Dr. Haass was director of policy planning for the U.S. Department of State, where he was a principal adviser to Secretary of State Colin Powell on a broad range of foreign policy concerns, and acted as U.S. coordinator for policy toward the future of Afghanistan and the lead U.S. government official in support of the Northern Ireland peace process. From 1989 to 1993, Dr. Haass was special assistant to President George Bush and senior director for Near East and South Asian affairs on the staff of the National Security Council. Previously, he served in various posts in the United States Departments of State and Defense. Dr. Haass has received the State Department’s Distinguished Honor Award and the Presidential Citizens Medal. Dr. Haass has been director of foreign policy studies at the Brookings Institution and taught at or been associated in various capacities with Hamilton College, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and the International Institute for Strategic Studies. Dr. Haass holds a bachelor’s from Oberlin College and both a Master and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Oxford University.
