The Hartcourt Companies, Inc., was incorporated in Utah in 1983. We are a business development company specializing in the Chinese Information Technology, or IT, market. We research and identify Chinese companies in the IT industry that meet our acquisition criteria. We acquire equity ownership or assets in the targeted companies to be part of our investment portfolio. On an on-going basis, we seek to maximize growth, profitability and liquidity of all of our operating subsidiaries under the Hartcourt umbrella. Change in Fiscal Year End We changed our fiscal year for financial reporting purposes from a calendar year to the 12-month period commencing June 1 and ending May 31. Available Information We file annual reports on Form 10-K, quarterly reports on Form 10-Q, current reports on Form 8-K, proxy statements and all other reports, and amendments to these reports, required of public companies with the SEC. BILLY Y.N. WANG, age 43. Dr. Billy Y.N. Wang has been a director of the Company since 2002. Dr. Wang has been the Country Manager of NCH Corp China, a multi-national chemical company with more than three subsidiaries in China, since 1997.
