Neil Koehler has over twenty years experience in ethanol production, sales, and marketing in the western United States. He was co-founder and general manager of Parallel Products, a California-based ethanol production company, which he sold to a public company in 1998. He also founded Kinergy Marketing, an ethanol sales and distribution firm that was acquired by PEI in May 2004. Neil is a Renewable Fuels Association board member and the director of the California Renewable Fuels Partnership. He is also a sought-after speaker on the issue of renewable fuels. He has a B.A. degree in Government from Pomona College.

Bryon McGregor has over 20 years of finance, banking and treasury experience. Prior to joining Pacific Ethanol, Bryon served as Senior Director of Treasury for E*TRADE Financial. While there, his responsibilities included international and U.S. brokerage treasury operations, corporate finance and investor relations. Prior to E*TRADE, he served as project finance head for ARCO and as a Director at Credit Suisse First Boston. Bryon has a B.S. degree in business management from Brigham Young University.

John Miller has over twenty years of senior management and operating experience in the independent power sector, most recently with Calpine Corporation, where he was Senior Vice President of Central Services. At Calpine, John oversaw key human resources and safety programs and managed the build-out of more than twenty major power projects valued at over $6 billion. Prior to his tenure at Calpine, John served as president of Thermo Electron’s Thermo Ecotek division, where he directed Thermo Electron’s expansion of its independent power business to ten operating plants in the US, Germany and the Czech Republic. He has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Portland.

Christopher Wright is a senior lawyer and manager with over twenty-three years of experience. Prior to serving as partner with the global law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, he served as Partner-in-Charge at the Pacific Northwest office of Cooley Godward, a leading Silicon Valley-based law firm. His career has involved advising boards of directors on compliance, securities matters, and strategic transactions, with a particular focus on guiding the development of fast growing companies. He has acted as general counsel for numerous technology enterprises in all aspects of corporate development, including fund-raising, business and technology acquisitions, mergers, and strategic alliances. He has degrees from Yale College and the University of Chicago Law School.

Doug Dickson has been active in the commodity and feed business for thirty years. Prior to taking the role as President of Pacific Ag Products in May 2004, Doug was President of Westside Milling LLC, an Arizona-based grain milling company. He has also held positions in commodity merchandising with Cargill and Scoular Grain, and has held senior management positions with Foster Farms, Zacky Farms, and J.D. Heiskell. Doug is a 1975 graduate of the College of Agriculture at UC Davis and in 1995 graduated from the California Agricultural Leadership Program.

Greg DiBiase has over fifteen years of experience in the petroleum refining and marketing business. Prior to joining PEI, he was a Director of Light Product Supply and Trading for Tesoro Refining. He has also held positions in products scheduling and accounting with Tosco Corporation and Amerada Hess Corporation. As an ethanol purchaser, Greg gained extensive knowledge of product supply and demand throughout the fuel industry as well as familiarity with refineries, suppliers and transportation companies. Through Pacific Ethanol’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Kinergy Marketing, Greg sells ethanol to major oil companies as well as independent petroleum marketers. Greg is a 1991 graduate of Temple University.

Jeff joined PEI in June 2003 and is primarily focused on financing the company's capital projects. For his first year at PEI, Jeff served as CFO of the company, performing the complex accounting functions of the rapidly growing business. Prior to joining PEI, he was a financial consultant at Pacific Resources and focused on controllership projects. Jeff received his MBA with Distinction and an MS in Natural Resources from the University of Michigan.

Mike has been in the ethanol business since 1983, starting in Colorado as a buyer of ethanol and ethanol/gasoline blender. With a degree in chemical engineering, Mike has vast experience in gasoline specifications and has worked for over twenty years on the ASTM subcommittee D-02, involved with gasoline, denaturant, and ethanol specifications for all of the major oil companies and automobile manufacturers. Prior to joining Pacific Ethanol, Mike was the ethanol sales manager for Chief Ethanol Fuels- the first ethanol plant built in Nebraska - where he worked in Quality Control, Rail and Truck Logistics, and Sales.

Paul Koehler has over twenty years of experience in business development and marketing in the energy industry. Prior to joining Pacific Ethanol in 2005, he served as Director of Business Development for PPM Energy, Inc., leading their efforts to develop and acquire several wind power projects. Paul was also a co-founder of ReEnergy, one of the companies acquired by Pacific Ethanol. During the 1990s Paul worked for Portland General Electric and Enron in marketing and origination of long term transactions, risk management, and energy trading. Paul has a BA from the Honors College at the University of Oregon.

Tom Koehler has twenty years experience in public policy and government relations, primarily related to the ethanol industry. As a consultant for the Renewable Fuels Association, Tom played an integral role in opening the California ethanol market and is still actively engaged in ensuring that the Northeast continues to move toward the replacement of MTBE (a carcinogenic fuel additive) with ethanol. Tom joined Pacific Ethanol in May 2004, and, as head of government relations and market development, led the charge to make Pacific Ethanol's Madera facility the first large-scale, permitted ethanol plant in California. Tom is a graduate of Oregon State University.

Bill Jones is a second-generation farmer and cattle rancher who also has over twenty years of policy and political experience in the state of California. First elected to the California Assembly in 1982, he served twelve consecutive years, including two as Republican Leader. In 1994, he was elected Secretary of State of California as the first central valley politician to hold a statewide office; he served until January 2003. As both a farmer and public official, Mr. Jones followed the development of the ethanol industry for years, perceiving it as a solution for a number of problems, including environmental and economic issues. In January 2003, after recent state legislation led to a surge in demand for ethanol in California, he co-founded Pacific Ethanol, Inc. Mr. Jones is a graduate of California State University, Fresno.

Mr. Sanders comes to Pacific Ethanol with over two decades of senior management and operating experience. He is the majority owner and co-founder of Front Range Energy (founded in July of 2004) which owns an ethanol plant in Windsor CO with nameplate annual capacity of 40 million gallons. He served as a board member of Twin City Bank in Longview, Washington, from 1998-2005.

Mr. Kieta is currently VP - Power for BE&K, Inc., a large international engineering and construction firm headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. From 1999 to April 2006, Mr. Kieta was employed at Calpine Corporation as Senior Vice President of Construction and Engineering. Calpine is a major North American power company providing electricity to customers and communities in 21 states and three Canadian provinces. Prior to joining Calpine, Mr. Kieta served for over 10 years as President & CEO of Century Contractors West, Inc. He has more than 40 years of profit center and project operations experience in the domestic and international power industries. He has a B.S. degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University and a master's degree in civil engineering from Cornell University.

Mr. Prince served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Dairyman?s Cooperative Creamery Association until its merger with Land O? Lakes in 1998. After the merger he held the position of Executive Vice President with Land O? Lakes until his retirement in March of 2004. Mr. Prince currently acts as a consultant to Land O' Lakes and other companies. He has served on the Wisconsin State Board of Agriculture and the Wisconsin rural Economic Development Board.

Mr. Layne is the retired Vice Chairman of Sanwa Bank in California. His 37-year tenure at Sanwa Bank and its predecessor, Lloyds Bank California, included heading the Commercial Banking Group and serving as Chairman of the Board of The Eureka Funds, a family of investment funds with total assets of $900 million. Mr. Layne serves as Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee for the Agricultural Foundation at California State University, Fresno. He is also Director and Budget Committee member for CSUF’s Athletic Corporation as well as a Trustee for CSUF’s Bulldog Foundation. Mr. Layne has a B.S. degree in Dairy Husbandry from CSUF.

Mr. Stone has served as a director since March 2005. Mr. Stone is a Certified Public Accountant with over thirty years of experience in accounting and taxation. He is the owner of his own accountancy firm, providing accounting and taxation services to a wide range of industries including agriculture, manufacturing, retail, equipment leasing, professionals and not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Stone has served as a part-time instructor at California State University, Fresno, teaching classes in taxation, auditing, and financial and management accounting. He is also a financial advisor and franchisee of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. Mr. Stone has a BS in Accounting from California State University, Fresno.
