Alan Trefler is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pegasystems. He also serves as Chairman of the Pegasystems Board of Directors. Alan also oversees the global sales function for Pegasystems.
Alan has consulted extensively in the use of advanced technologies, customer service processing, expert systems, and work automation. He has frequently presented to international audiences, and has written for major publications. Alan has been profiled in such publications as The Boston Globe, Forbes, and Inc. magazine; and was granted a U.S. Patent in 1998 for Pegasystems' distinctive Inherited Rule-Based Architecture, which provides the framework for Pegasystems' rules-based Business Process Management (BPM) solutions.
Alan’s interest in computers and expert systems originates from collegiate involvement in tournament chess, during which time he achieved a Master rating and was co-champion of the 1975 World Open Chess Championship. Alan holds a degree with distinction in Economics and Computer Science from Dartmouth College.

Craig Dynes is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Pegasystems. Craig also oversees the IT function at Pegasystems.
Prior to joining Pegasystems, Craig served as CFO at Demandware, a venture-backed enterprise-software firm. Previously he was President and CEO of Narad Networks, where he led the company's successful turnaround effort. Prior to Narad, Craig’s experience includes serving as CFO at SilverStream Software (acquired by Novell), and holding senior financial positions at Sybase and Powersoft.
Craig holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and a graduate degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business Administration, the University of Western Ontario.

Jo joined Pegasystems in 2003 where she serves as CIO. Jo also managed a host of other operational responsibilities in this position including asset management and warehousing, Corporate Travel, Amex Administration, and Group Purchasing. Before her CMGI assignment, Jo held CIO positions at Addison Wesley Longman, and at Houghton Mifflin Co. Prior to that, Jo was VP and General Manager with Atex Media Solutions where she also had 12 years of software development experience.

Mike Pyle is Sr. Vice President of Product Development at Pegasystems. In this role, Pyle is responsible for leading a growing worldwide team of developers with diverse skill sets in business and engineering disciplines. Joining Pegasystems as a 20-person company in 1985 as Manager of Applications Development, Pyle has been instrumental in evolving the technical architecture and feature content of Pegasystems' products to meet important business challenges. Mike has also worked extensively in the field with Pegasystems' customers to deploy the Company's solutions in mission-critical operational areas. Prior to joining Pegasystems, Pyle's professional background encompassed software development and managerial experience throughout Europe and the United States. He has specialized in developing large-scale communications systems for a diverse span of applications and industries, including financial services and manufacturing. A British citizen, Pyle began his computer career in government service in the United Kingdom. Carmelina Procaccini is Vice President of Human Resources at Pegasystems. Procaccini joined Pegasystems in March 2000 to oversee all aspects of the Company's employee relations, staffing, benefits administration, and employee compensation. Procaccini has 20 years of human resources experience in high-growth environments within the manufacturing, technology, and financial services industries. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Human Resources at MFS Investment Management, a global mutual fund company. At MFS, Procaccini played a key role in transforming the human resources function and aligning those processes with organizational goals and business strategies. She also managed the implementation of their PeopleSoft HRIS solution and MFS' first regular human resources management reporting analysis program. Max Mayer is Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Pegasystems, responsible for driving the company's integrated strategy-development process. He also oversees all global marketing and sales operations activities at Pegasystems.
Max brings more than two decades of experience in successful executive management to Pegasystems, most recently as the head of The Mayer Group, which served as management consultants to more than a dozen technology companies. Previously, he was president of a $400 million, publicly traded telecommunications company, and prior to that, spent 15 years with Digital Equipment Corporation.

Shawn Hoyt is Vice President and General Counsel for Pegasystems. He is the chief legal advisor to the company, and is responsible for the operations of the company's legal team.
Prior to joining Pegasystems, Shawn served as Corporate Counsel for Sapient Corporation, where his responsibilities included corporate and securities law, governance and compliance, client contracting, and serving as legal counsel for Sapient's India operations. Before joining Sapient, he was a senior associate with the Boston-based law firm of Choate, Hall & Stewart, where he was involved in acquisitions and securities transactions and provided counsel to clients on general corporate and operational issues.

Richard H. Jones, 57, joined Pegasystems in October 1999, serving as President and Chief Operating Officer until September 2002. Mr. Jones continued to serve as a part-time employee of Pegasystems until June 2007. He was elected a Director of Pegasystems in November 2000, and became Vice Chairman in September 2002. From 1995 to 1997, he served as a Chief Asset Management Executive and member of the Operating Committee at Barnett Banks, Inc., which at the time was among the nation's 25 largest banks. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Fleet Investment Services, a brokerage and wealth management organization from 1991 to 1995. His prior experience also includes serving as Executive Vice President with Fidelity Investments, an international provider of financial services and investment resources, and as a principal with the consulting firm of Booz, Allen & Hamilton. Mr. Jones holds an undergraduate degree from Duke University, with majors in both economics and management science. He also holds an M.B.A. degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Since June 1995, Mr. Jones has served as Chairman of Jones Boys Ventures, a retailer. Mr. Jones is also currently a Trusteeof Episcopal High School in Jacksonville, Florida.

Mr. Kaplan holds Bachelors degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well as a Masters degree in Management from MIT.

William W. Wyman, 67, has been a director of Pegasystems since June 2000. In December 2000, he was also elected a member of our Audit Committee, and in April 2004, he was elected a member of our Nominating Committee. From 1984 through 1995, Mr. Wyman was a partner at Oliver, Wyman & Company, a management consulting company which he co-founded. Mr. Wyman has previously served as a director of US Timberlands, a limited partnership consisting of the growing of trees and the sale of logs and standing timber; Predictive Systems, a network consulting company focused on the design, performance, management and security of complex computing networks; and Internosis, an information technology consultancy firm. Mr. Wyman is no longer a Director of these Companies.
