Stuart Moore co-founded Sapient in 1991, and served as Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Co-Chief Executive Officer of the company until June 2006. Since then, he has continued to serve as a member of Sapient's Board of Directors. Moore and Jerry A. Greenberg started Sapient to pioneer a fundamentally different approach to business and technology consulting. This approach delivers business and advanced technology solutions that result in high-value, measurable business results on time and on budget. He worked with clients to establish relationships and grow business, and helped set the company's overall strategy. Moore was also instrumental in developing Sapient's vision and values and the company's unique approach to achieving dramatic results for clients. Moore graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Computer Science.

Legorburu has been a driving force in the evolution of the interactive marketing business since co-founding Planning Group International (PGI). Under his leadership, PGI became the largest privately held interactive agency in the United States and was acquired by Sapient in 2006. Throughout his career, Legorburu has spearheaded some of the most successful online campaigns in the history of the Internet. He has partnered with clients in industries ranging from financial services and travel and leisure to technology and food service. He has helped these clients gain unparalleled insights into effectively marketing their products and services in today’s increasingly complex marketplace. Legorburu continues to provide clients with forward-thinking answers to overcome their critical business challenges.

He oversees company operations, and his primary responsibility is to maximize our internal operational performance and cost effectiveness. Since joining Sapient in 1994, Bradford has served in many roles including Chief Information Officer, President of Sapient Canada, Managing Director of Sapient India and Managing Director of Sapient Government Services. He has also established several of Sapient’s initial industry groups and was responsible for delivery to high-profile communications and high-tech clients. Prior to joining Sapient, Bradford held senior sales, marketing and information technology roles during his 14-year tenure with Sprint (currently Sprint Nextel). He earned a bachelor’s degree in management science from Duke University.

Alan Wexler heads strategy, delivery and business development for all of Sapient North America. Since joining Sapient in 1998, Wexler has held a number of key management positions, including Vice President and Managing Director of Sapient’s Technology and Communications Group. He launched Sapient’s Global Wireless Group, and led our Media, Entertainment, and Communication Group in New York. Prior to joining Sapient, he founded and operated a management and technology-consulting firm. Wexler is a frequent speaker at industry events and has been interviewed and featured in publications such as the Wall Street Journal. He earned a BS in Computer Science and an MBA from Rider University in New Jersey

Mr. Oversohl joined Sapient in April 2000, following Sapient s merger with the company he founded, The Launch Group. Mr. Oversohl serves as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Sapient s European Operations. Prior to joining Sapient, Mr. Oversohl was a manager at A.T. Kearney and also worked with Dicke & Wicharz Management Consulting, BMW, Henkel-Kosmetik, and Dresdner Bank.

Karandeep Singh, Co-Founder of Aspire, is Director (Finance) at Sapient. He has more than 14 years of financial planning and control experience across India, the Middle East, South East Asia, Greater China, Australia and Japan. Karandeep was formerly Director (Finance) for Dell's BPO operations in India and prior to that, he was VP (Finance) at Moser Baer. Karandeep also serve at Ariba as Regional CFO based in Singapore, and at Yum Restaurants as Finance Manager for the Middle East and North Africa. Karandeep started at Andersen Consulting after completing his CA (with AF Ferguson & Co.) and B. Com (Honours) from Delhi University. He was the University Gold Medalist.

Deirdre graduated from Cornell University's Engineering School in 1999. After being a Web developer and consultant with Sapient in Boston for a few years, she left her job to finally pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. In preparation, she worked as a veterinary technician at South Bay Veterinary Group in Boston. In August of 2003, she moved to Philadelphia and worked part-time at the VCA Cat Hospital while starting PhilaPets.com and applying to veterinary school. Deirdre has been around animals her whole life, growing up with dogs and cats and hamsters and birds and gerbils and fish and frogs and various other creatures. She's been involved in programs such as Phinney's Friends. She also has spent time at the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society doing spay and neuter work. Deirdre had two life dreams since she was a child: to have her own business and to work with animals. PhilaPets married the two. Helping to create and build PhilaPets has truly been one of the most rewarding, challenging, and exciting ventures she has ever been a part of in her entire life. John Towell is an innovative software architect with over 8 years experience in enterprise Java. After a successful career start with Sapient Corporation, John went on to work as lead engineer for several startup companies and has formed highly productive engineering teams. A skilled Java developer and process engineer, John leverages agile processes and open source software to create high quality and highly scalable software. John has delivered numerous applications across many sectors with emphasis on financial services and corporate real estate.

Hermann Buerger has been a member of Sapient’s Board and Chairman of its Audit Committee since June 2006. He also serves on the Board for EMS Technologies, Inc. Buerger was formerly a Director at Paging Network, Inc., Ptek Holdings, Inc. (now Premier Global Services), Security Capital Group Incorporated and United Dominion Industries. The bulk of Buerger’s career was spent at Commerzbank AG, where he rose to the position of Regional Board Member and CEO of Americas. He has also served as a Trustee at the Virginia Tech Foundation and Co-Chairman of the Business Executive Council—the American Council of Germany. In addition, he has been a member of the International Advisory Council—Bankers’ Association of Foreign Trade Unibanco—San Paulo, Brazil, and has served as Vice Chairman of the Institute of International Bankers and a member of the Advisory Board at the Wharton Real Estate Center. Buerger earned a BA in Economics and an MBA from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. A US citizen, he was born in Germany and served in the US Army.

Jim Benson has been a member of Sapient's Board since August 2007. He also serves on several other Boards, including the University of Illinois Foundation and The American College Endowment Foundation. Benson is the Chief Executive Officer of Clark Benson LLC ("Clark Benson"), a position he has held since January 2006, and a principal of its parent company, Clark Wamberg, LLC, a position he has held since the company's formation in February 2007. Mr. Benson served as a director of Clark, Inc., the former parent company of Clark Benson, from January 2006 until March 12, 2007. Prior to joining Clark Benson, Mr. Benson served as President and Chief Executive Officer of John Hancock Life Insurance Company, a division of Manulife Financial, from 2002 to 2006. From 1997 to 2002, Mr. Benson served as President of MetLife's Individual Business enterprise, as well as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of two separate MetLife affiliates: New England Financial, and GenAmerica Financial Corporation. Benson earned a BA in economics from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

Until March 2008, Ashok Shah served as vice president and managing partner of the global professional business division of Alcatel-Lucent. Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent in Nov.2003, he held various management positions with Digital Equipment Corp., Compaq Computer Corporation and Hewlett-Packard, including general manager of IT services; subsidiary manager of IT Services; India country manager for the software division; Asia Pacific manager for the systems integration division; and vice president of the professional services division for North America at Compaq. Currently, Shah is the founder and managing partner of CEPS Consulting, LLC, which provides strategic counsel to IT/telecom services and software firms as well as enterprise clients. He also serves on the engineering leadership board at the University of Houston Cullen College of Engineering.

Professional Profile Mr. Krenz joined Heidrick & Struggles in 2008. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Mr. Krenz served as the Chief Financial Officer of Navigant Consulting, Inc., a specialty consulting Company. Mr. Krenz also served as Chief Financial Officer of Sapient Corporation, a Boston based IT services, internet marketing, and consulting firm. His experience includes 20 years with the IT services firm Electronic Data Systems Corporation. At EDS, Mr. Krenz served in a variety of positions including Vice President Treasurer, CFO Europe, Middle East, and Africa, and Controller Corporate Financial Services. He began his career as an auditor with the public accounting firm of Ernst & Whinney. Education Mr. Krenz holds a B.A. in History from Northwestern University, and a M.B.A. from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. He is a Certified Public Account in the state of Illinois.

Vijay Singal currently heads the department of finance at Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and is the author of the 2006 book, Beyond the Random Walk: A Guide to Stock Market Anomalies and Low-Risk Investing. Since 2002, he has served as a J. Gray Ferguson Professor of Finance at the University. Earlier, he held various other academic positions there, joining in 1992. Prior to entering academia, Singal spent ten years at the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation in India, holding various positions, finally as a joint director of finance. Since 2003, Singal has served as a member of the board of trustees and audit committee of New River Funds. Since 2005, he has also served as a consultant and partner to a New Jersey-based securities trading company.
