Headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, The Steak 'n Shake Company (NYSE: SNS) is a restaurant with nearly 430 locations in the Midwest and Southeast U.S. The company is known for its steakburgers, but also serves fries, chicken, milkshakes, sandwiches and chili. During fiscal year 2005, it opened nineteen new units, and its franchisees opened four new units.
