Louis R. Chênevert was elected President and Chief Executive Officer of United Technologies in April, 2008. He held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer, and served as a Director of United Technologies since March, 2006. Prior to that, he served as President, Pratt & Whitney from April 1999 through March 2006.
Before joining Pratt & Whitney in 1993, Chênevert spent 14 years at General Motors. He served as production general manager of General Motors’ St. Therese operation.
Chênevert is a member of the Business Roundtable and is a founding director of and serves on the Board of Directors for the Friends of HEC Montreal. He also serves on the Director’s Advisory Board for the Yale Cancer Center and is a Co-Chair for the Smilow Cancer Hospital Capital Campaign Committee. In 2005, Chênevert was inducted as a Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). This AIAA honor is limited to people who have completed important engineering or scientific work, or who have contributed greatly to the arts, science, or technology of aeronautics or astronautics.
He earned a bachelor of commerce degree in production management from the University of Montreal, HEC.

Ari Bousbib was named President of UTC's Commercial Companies in May 2008. In this role, Ari has responsibility for the strategic direction and operational performance of Otis Elevator Company, Carrier Corporation, UTC Fire & Security and UTC Power.
From 2002 to 2008 Ari served as president of Otis Elevator. Prior to this, he was the company's chief operating officer from 2000 to 2002.
Before joining Otis, Ari was UTC's vice president, corporate strategy and development for more than three years. Previously, Ari was a partner at global management and technology consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton. He joined the firm in 1987 as an associate and was elected to its partnership in 1992.
Ari currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Home Depot (NYSE: HD).
In May 2008, Ari was appointed by the President of the United States to serve as a member of the President's Commission on White House Fellowships, America's most prestigious program for leadership and public service.
Ari holds a master's of science degree in mathematics and structural engineering from the Ecole Supérieure des Travaux Publics, Paris and an MBA from Columbia University.

George David is Chairman of United Technologies Corporation and was its Chief Executive Officer from 1994 through 2008. He joined UTC's Otis Elevator subsidiary in 1975 and became its President in 1986.
He received his B.A. from Harvard and M.B.A. from the University of Virginia.
Mr. David is a board member of BP and a former board member of Citigroup. He is Vice Chairman of the Peterson Institute for International Economics and has chaired, among others, the boards of the Graduate Business School at the University of Virginia and the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford. He has been recognized by Barron's, Business Week, and Institutional Investor magazines as among the world's best CEOs.
He was awarded in 1999 the Order of Friendship from the Russian Federation for contributions to that nation's economy and especially its aerospace industry. In 2002 he was awarded France's Legion of Honor.
