Lancaster Colony is a manufacturer and marketer of consumer goods. As of June 30 2008, Co. conducted its businesses through two operating segments. Co.'s Specialty Foods segment manufactures and sells salad dressings and sauces, fruit glazes, vegetable and fruit dips, frozen hearth-baked breads, frozen Parkerhouse style yeast dinner rolls and sweet rolls, biscuits, dry egg noodles, frozen specialty noodles and pastas, croutons products and caviar. Co.'s Glassware and Candles segment sell candles, candle accessories, and other home fragrance products in a variety of sizes, forms and fragrance in retail markets to mass merchants, supermarkets, drug stores and specialty shops.
