Board of Directors
Scott L. Bok has served as our Co-Chief Executive Officer since October 2007 and previously as our Co-President since January 2004. In addition, Mr. Bok has been a director of Greenhill & Co., Inc. since its incorporation in March 2004. From 2001 until the incorporation of the Firm, Mr. Bok served on the two-person administrative committee responsible for managing Greenhill's operations. He joined Greenhill as a Managing Director in February 1997.
Before joining Greenhill, Mr. Bok was a managing director in the mergers, acquisitions and restructuring department of Morgan Stanley & Co., where he worked from 1986 to 1997, based in New York and London. From 1984 to 1986, he practiced mergers and acquisitions and securities law in New York with Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. Mr. Bok is a member of the board of directors of various private companies.

Mr. Phillips joined Greenhill in 2006. He previously worked for six years at Legal & General Ventures Limited ("LGV") where he was a Managing Director and member of the Investment Committee. During that time he served on a number of company Boards including Vue Entertainment, LGC Holdings and Tragus Holdings. Prior to this, he worked in the London office of Bridgepoint Capital Partners. He is a graduate of Glasgow University. Brian is the Chief Investment Officer of Greenhill Capital Partners Europe.

Andrew joined Greenhill's Fund Placement Advisory group in 2009. Prior to Greenhill, he spent six years in Lazard's Private Fund Advisory Group where he was responsible for originating, structuring and executing the placement of primary and secondary limited partnership interests in private equity, venture capital, mezzanine and other alternative investment funds. Prior to Lazard, Andrew was an Associate in Corporate Development for a portfolio company of a global private equity firm. He started his career as an Analyst in the high yield and leveraged finance group at Salomon Smith Barney. Andrew received his B.A. in Economics from Washington and Lee University.

Mr. Roy joined Greenhill in 2000 and founded its Frankfurt office. Colin previously was a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch, where he ran the European Chemicals and Pharma industry group and was co-head of investment banking in Germany. Prior to this he spent 10 years with S.G. Warburg in London, Munich and Frankfurt. Colin is a member of the Management Committee of Greenhill & Co.
Mr. Randolph joined Greenhill in 2004. Greg was previously a Managing Director in the energy and power group of Goldman, Sachs & Co. Prior to his 10 years at Goldman Sachs, he worked in the project finance group at Salomon Brothers.
Mr. Lupton joined Greenhill in 1998. This followed a 17-year career with Baring Brothers International Limited, where he served in senior roles, including Deputy Chairman, advising on M&A. He previously worked at S.G.Warburg and qualified as a Solicitor with Lovell, White & King. James is a member of the Management Committee of Greenhill & Co.
Mr. Bousquette joined Greenhill in 2006. He previously worked for seven years as an investment professional at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. ("KKR") and served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Duracell International, Beatrice Company, and ConAgra Foods during his tenure at KKR. Subsequent to leaving KKR, Mr. Bousquette served as the Chief Financial Officer and subsequently the Chief Operating Officer of Sotheby's Holdings, Inc. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Bousquette worked in Morgan Stanley's Merger and Acquisitions Department. Mr. Bousquette earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the Harvard Law School.

Ben joined Greenhill in 2003. Prior to joining Greenhill, he worked within the European investment banking division of Goldman Sachs in London. Birger joined Greenhill in 2001. Prior to that, Birger was an Analyst in the automotive and aerospace M&A groups of both Deutsche Bank (Frankfurt and London) and Merrill Lynch (Chicago). He received a Masters in Business Administration and Finance with high distinction and an award for academic excellence from the Johann-Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt (Germany) in conjunction with University of California, Berkeley.

Boris Gutin has served as a director since October 2004. Mr. Gutin has been an associate at Greenhill Capital Partners since joining Greenhill in August 2003. From September 2001 to August 2003, Mr. Gutin was obtaining his master s of business administration from Harvard Business School. From August 1999 to August 2001, he was an investment professional at American Securities Capital Partners, a private equity firm. From August 1998 to August 1999, Mr. Gutin was in the Principal Investment Area of Goldman Sachs & Co. and, from August 1996 to August 1998, he was in Goldman Sachs Leveraged Finance Group.
Brad joined Greenhill in 2006 and co-founded the firm's Toronto office. He was previously Managing Director and President of Morgan Stanley Canada and has 20 years of investment banking experience including 10 years with Goldman Sachs in New York and London. Brad received a BA from Wilfred Laurier University and an MBA from York University.
Mr. Robins joined Greenhill in 2001. Prior to that Brad was a Senior Vice President at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin, where he led a variety of restructuring and M&A engagements. He began his career as an attorney at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York.

George joined Greenhill in 2006 and co-founded the firm's Toronto office. He was previously Chairman & CEO of Goldman Sachs Canada. George first joined Goldman Sachs in New York in 1987 and, among various investment banking roles, was primarily involved with Goldman Sach's Canadian business. Mr. Crews joined Greenhill in March 2005 and founded the company's Dallas office. Ken was previously a Vice Chairman of UBS Investment Bank and a member of its American Executive Committee. He is a 30-year veteran of investment banking and specializes in energy and power.
Kevin joined Greenhill's investment banking advisory practice in 2005. Prior to joining, he practiced corporate and securities law at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, where he represented public and private clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions and public and private debt and equity offerings. Kevin received a B.B.A. with high distinction from the University of Michigan as well as a J.D., magna cum laude, in 2000 from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was an editor of the Michigan Law Review and member of the Order of the Coif.
Lisandro Castillo (Field Supervisor): Lisandro is one of the most experienced linemen on Roatan with 20 years experience of clambering up and over poles with the agility of a lemur ! He first began work as an electrician as a way of getting rank and a pay raise with Honduran army's 105th infantry battalion in Trujillo and when he was discharged as First Sergeant, continued work in factories as an industrial electrician. In 1992 he began working at RECO where he worked as a service drop crew chief as well as 13.8kv high line lineman until 1998 when he tried the public sector working for a development. Lisandro is a trained cableman in terminating 15kv cable. He has been with GreenHill since its beginnings in 2004 and is a shareholder but most importantly as field supervisor and dazzling striker in the GreenHill soccer team!
Mr. Schneider joined Greenhill in 2006 from BNP Paribas Corporate Finance Group, Frankfurt. Prior experience includes positions in the M&A group of Lazard and as research assistant at the University of Munich. Markus graduated from University of Munich, Germany with a Master degree and Ph.D. in Business Administration. Isabel V. Sawhill has served on our Board of Directors since July of 2004. Since 2003, Dr. Sawhill has been Vice President and Director of Economic Studies at the Brookings Institution and prior to that had been a senior fellow at Brookings since 1997. From 1995 until 1997 she was a Senior Fellow at the Urban Institute. From 1993 until 1995, she served as the Associate Director at the Office of Management and Budget. Ms. Sawhill is a member of the Board of Directors of a number of non-profit organizations.
Stephen L. Key has served on our Board of Directors since May 2004. Since 2003, Mr. Key has been the sole proprietor of Key Consulting, LLC. Mr. Frazee joined Greenhill in 2007. He is the retired President/COO and Director of Sprint Corporation and the retired Chairman and CEO of Centel Corporation, which merged with Sprint in 1993. Jack spent over 35 years in the telecommunications industry, starting his career with the Bell system in 1966 before joining Centel in 1972.
John Paynter joined Greenhill in 2009. Previously John spent 29 years with Cazenove, latterly JPMorgan Cazenove, where he retired as Vice Chairman in 2008. John is a non-executive director of Standard Chartered PLC and Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc.
Dr. Baumann joined Greenhill in 2005. Previously Karl spent 35 years with Siemens AG where he was Chief Financial Officer from 1988 to 1998 and Chairman of the Supervisory Board from 1999 to 2005. Karl holds Supervisory Board memberships at E.ON AG, Linde AG and Schering AG.
Kay is currently the Financial Services Director for Lane County. She shares her home with two large mixed-breed dogs, Ross and Jake, while her husband is working out of the country on a one-year assignment.
Ken Goldman is an accomplished executive with extensive financial, operational and business management experience and a solid track record of success. He is currently the CFO of Fortinet. Previously, he served as senior vice president, finance and administration, and CFO of Siebel Systems from August 2000 until the close of Oracle Corporation's acquisition in January 2006. Prior to that, he held CFO positions at Excite@Home, Sybase, Inc., Cypress Semiconductor and VLSI Technology. Additionally, his experience includes board director, audit committee chairman, and financial advisory roles at several leading public and private technology companies. Ken earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University in 1971 and his master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School in 1974. He is a member and the former president of The Financial Executive Institute, Santa Clara chapter, and was formerly a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board Advisory Council (FASAC) from 2000 to 2004

Leiv Nergaard was appointed a director of Endeavour International Corporation in November 2008. Nergaard is chairman of the board of directors for Storebrand ASA, and a board member and chairman of the audit committee of Yara International ASA. He serves as chairman of the Norwegian Industry and Commerce Securities Market Committee in addition to being chairman of some smaller companies. The majority of his career has been spent with Norsk Hydro where he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer and as president of Norsk Hydro Germany in addition to a number of other senior management positions.
Melinda has been on the board since October 2002. She is a CPA and owner of Focus 4 CPA in Springfield. Her practice specializes in individual and small business tax preparation and small business consulting including QuickBooks consulting. Melinda lives in Eugene with her husband, Will, and their two dogs Samson & Lola. She is a graduate of North Eugene High School and the University of Oregon.
Mr. Morse joined Greenhill in 2002. A former head of Goldman Sachs European energy and power investment banking team, Richard has over 20 years of investment banking experience at Goldman Sachs and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. Between 1999-2001, he served as Deputy Director General of the Office of Gas & Electricity Markets, the British energy regulator.
Robert F. Greenhill, our founder, has served as our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since the time of our founding in 1996. Mr. Greenhill has been a member of our Management Committee since its formation in January 2004. In addition, Mr. Greenhill has been a director of Greenhill & Co., Inc. since its incorporation in March 2004. Prior to founding and becoming Chairman of Greenhill, Mr. Greenhill was chairman and chief executive officer of Smith Barney Inc. and a member of the board of directors of the predecessor to the present Travelers Corporation (the parent of Smith Barney) from June 1993 to January 1996. From January 1991 to June 1993, Mr. Greenhill was president of, and from January 1989 to January 1991, Mr. Greenhill was a vice chairman of, Morgan Stanley Group, Inc. Mr. Greenhill joined Morgan Stanley in 1962 and became a partner in 1970. In 1972, Mr. Greenhill directed Morgan Stanley's newly-formed mergers and acquisitions department. In 1980, Mr. Greenhill was named director of Morgan Stanley's investment banking division, with responsibility for domestic and international corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, merchant banking, capital markets services and real estate. Also in 1980, Mr. Greenhill became a member of Morgan Stanley's management committee.
