Petrohawk Energy Corporation (NYSE: HK) is engaged in the acquisition, development, production and exploration of oil and natural gas properties. As of December 31, 2007, Petrohawk has proved reserves of approximately 1.062 TCFE. The Company?s proved reserves are 90% gas and 57% developed. Production is approximately 261 Mmcfe/d. The 2008 capital budget is $1.3 billion. Petrohawk focuses on properties within our core operating areas that have a significant proved reserve component and which management believes have additional development and exploration opportunities. Petrohawk?s properties are primarily located in North Louisiana, East Texas and Arkansas and in the Anadarko, Arkoma and Permian regions.
