Founder, President & CEO Aqua Marine Partners, LLC. A lifelong boater, Mr. Sturner founded Aqua Marine Partners, LLC (AMP) in 2002. Mr. Sturner led the acquisition of Hi Lift Marina, a 269 slip, full-service marina, and its 30-year-old boat dealership. A seasoned executive with a proven entrepreneurial track record and extensive strategic deal making experience, he founded AMP to locate and invest in marine industry companies. Prior to founding AMP, Mr. Sturner was a founding executive of two start-up ventures. He served as President of Corporate & Business Development of SportsLine.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPLN), the publisher of cbs.sportsline.com. He joined SportsLine in 1995 and managed all aspects of domestic and international business development initiatives, corporate development, M&A, e-commerce and legal affairs for the company. Before joining SportsLine, Mr. Sturner served as the Vice President of Business Development for MovieFone (NASDAQ: MOFN), after he sold his company Interactive Services to MovieFone in 1994. After graduating with a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1990, he worked as an attorney in the Bankruptcy, Workout & Restructuring department of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP. Mr. Sturner received a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Washington University. Admitted to the New York, Connecticut and Washington, D.C. bars. He was appointed to the Building Regulatory Board of the town of Golden Beach. Mr. Sturner is an active member of the Marine Industry Association of South Florida and was formerly a Director of the International Marina Institute where he served as treasurer before it merged with Marina Operators Association of America in 2004. He sits on the Board of the Marina Mile Association and is Chairman of the Board of Passport Marine, Inc.
