Board of Directors
Corey Chambas has worked in the commercial banking industry for 25 years, specializing in commercial lending and cash management. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, he has also completed several advanced commercial lending programs including those of Darden (University of Virginia) and Kellogg (Northwestern University). In addition to his role as President and CEO at First Business Financial Services, Corey serves as a director of several of First Businessa s companies, is a board member of M3 Insurance Solutions, Inc., Business Advisory Board member of Bellbrook Labs, LLC, Advisory Board member of the Aldine Capital Fund, L.P., member of the Strategic Issues Campaign Committee for the United Way of Dane County, and a member of Madison Breakfast Rotary.
Barbara brings 30 years of progressive banking experience from Associated Bank, and is well known from her extensive community involvement. With her commercial banking expertise, broad banking experience, and educational background, Barbara's role at First Business is multi-faceted. It is anticipated that upon graduation from the University of Wisconsin Law School in May 2008 and admission to the State Bar, Barbara will assume the role of the company's General Counsel. In the nearer term, Barbara will assist with key client relationships and will continue her active involvement and leadership in the Madison community.
Barbara's community involvement includes: Board Member and past Board Chair of Downtown Madison, Inc.; current Audit Committee Member of Madison Community Foundation; past Board Chair and Finance Committee Chair of Meriter Retirement Services, Inc.; past member of the UW School of Business Dean's Advisory Board; past President and Founding Board Member of The Business Forum, Inc. and Wisconsin Harvest, Inc.; and past Board Member of St. Benedict Center, Tempo of Madison, Wisconsin Business Development, and Olbrich Botanical Society. While she is in the process of pursuing her Law Degree, Barbara also has a Master of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Personnel from the University of Wisconsin — Madison.
Margaret Bomber is the Assistant Vice President of Treasury Management. She brings over 15 years of treasury management experience working with business and non-profit clients in the greater Madison area. Margaret has been with the First Business family of companies since 1996. Previous to this she was with M&I in Madison.
Margaret is a member of the music program at the Cathedral Parish in Madison. She is past Chair of the St. Raphael Cathedral Parish Council and is a member of the Diocese of Madison Pastoral Council. She has a BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and graduated from the Graduate School of Banking in Madison.
Dean W. Voeks, age 66, has served as a Director of the Company since April 1996, is Chair of the Audit Committee and is a member of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee. From January 1991 until October 2001, Mr. Voeks was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Chorus Communications Group Ltd., a telecommunications company.
Gary E. Zimmerman, age 67, has served as a Director of the Company since April 1991 and is Chair of the Compensation Committee and of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee. Mr. Zimmerman has been Chairman of Terra Engineering and Construction Corporation from March 1974 to the present. In addition, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Terra from March 1973 to November 1999.

John M. Silseth, age 53, has served as a Director of the Company since October 2006 and is a member of the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee. He also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Company’s First Business Bank-Milwaukee subsidiary and sits on the Directors’ Loan Committee. Mr. Silseth has been President of Antietam LLC, a private investment firm located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, since 1986. He also serves on the Board of Directors of various Antietam portfolio companies, other privately held companies, and charitable organizations
Loren D. Mortenson, age 69, has served as a Director of the Company since January 1994 and is a member of the Compensation Committee. He served as Chairman of Mortenson, Matzelle & Meldrum, Inc., an independent insurance agency, from 1968 to 2007.
Mark D. Bugher, age 60, has served as a Director of the Company since July 2005 and is a member of the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee. Mr. Bugher has served as the Director of University Research Park in Madison, Wisconsin since 1999. Prior to this role, Mr. Bugher served as the Secretary of the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration from 1996 to 1999. From 1988 to 1996, he served as Secretary of the State of Wisconsin Department of Revenue. Mr. Bugher serves in leadership positions as chair or board member to many organizations promoting economic development in Wisconsin.
