Susan Hooper joined the Board as a Non-Executive Director on 10 March 2005. She is currently the Senior Vice President, International Managing Director, Royal Caribbean & Celebrity Cruises International. She joined Royal Caribbean from Avis Europe where she was Commercial Vice-President. Prior to this she gained extensive international experience with Saatchi & Saatchi, McKinsey and Co and PepsiCo International. Susan is currently a Director of Sunshine Cruises Limited (the joint venture between First Choice and Royal Caribbean), Transcom Worldwide SA and is a trustee of The Suzy Lamplugh Fund.

Dr Albert Schunk joined the Board of TUI Travel PLC as a Non-Executive Director on 29 October 2007. Albert studied economics at university and carried out a research project for the German Government in Latin America. After joining IG-Metall, he has served on the supervisory board of Volkswagen and other German Companies since 1976. In 1994 he became a member of the EESC (European Economic and Social Council) in Brussels and has recently been advising the Riu Group in Spain.

Bill Logan started in industrial relations. He then developed his HR career in international roles with Seagram Inc London, New York and Hong Kong. Having attended the Strategic HR Programme at Stanford University, he joined First Choice in 1998 to support the Group's international HR development.

Dermot Blastland joined the Board on 6 September 1999. He is Managing Director ? UK & Ireland, having previously held positions as Managing Director of First Choice Holidays & Flights, Ski, Lakes & Mountains and President of Signature Vacations. Prior to joining the Company in February 1988, he was Commercial Director at Thomson and subsequently Managing Director of Portland Holidays.

Giles Thorley, 41, was appointed Chief Executive of Punch in January 2003, having joined Punch as Executive Chairman in December 2001. After qualifying as a Barrister, his early career was at Nomura International plc. He successfully led the IPO of Punch in May 2002 and has seen the business through the subsequent acquisitions including Pubmaster in 2003 and Spirit Group in 2006. Giles is also Non-executive Chairman of Tragus Limited, a Non-executive Director of Tui Travel plc and a trustee of the Rona Trust.

Richard D. Fain is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., the global cruise company operating 38 ships under the Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, Pullmantur, Azamara Cruises and CDF Croisières de France brands. Fain joined Royal Caribbean in 1979 as an outside director on the company’s Board of Directors. He became the cruise line’s Chairman and CEO in 1988. Prior to joining Royal Caribbean, Fain spent 13 years as treasurer, chief financial officer and joint managing director of Gotaas-Larsen Shipping Corp., a London-based owner and operator of cargo ships. Fain is a member of the National Conference for Community and Justice, and serves on the World Wildlife Fund’s National Council, the Florida Council of 100 and the University of Miami’s Board of Trustees. In addition, he serves on the executive committee of the United Way of Miami-Dade County. Fain is a former chair of the Miami Business Forum, the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau and of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), an industry trade association representing nearly 17,000 affiliated travel agencies and the bulk of the world’s cruise lines. He has also served as co-chair of the United Way Campaign of Miami-Dade County and as chair of the POW WOW Host Committee in Miami. In 2004, Fain received the Ultimate CEO Award from the South Florida Business Journal and accepted the Ellis Island Medal of Honor from the National Ethnic Coalition Organization. He was inducted into the South Florida Business Hall of Fame in October 2004. Fain was presented one of France’s most distinguished awards, the Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur (French Legion of Honor), and was named Commander, First Class, of the Order of the Lion by Finland. In addition to being the recipient of the Anti-Defamation League’s 2000 Distinguished Community Service award, he was named the 1999 Statesman of the Year by the Wharton School Club of South Florida, as well as the 1998 Humanitarian of the Year by the American Red Cross of Greater Miami and the Keys. Fain holds a B.S. degree in economics from the University of California at Berkeley and a M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Fain and his wife, Colleen, have four children and reside in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Tony Campbell became a Non-Executive Director of First Choice Holidays PLC in April 1997 and joined the Board of TUI Travel PLC on 28 June 2007. He was Deputy Chief Executive of Asda Stores Limited until March 2001 and is currently chairman of Hobbs Headco Limited, chairman of T M Lewin & Sons Limited, chairman of The White Company and a director of Alaska Food Diagnostics Limited.
