Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Hamilton, OH, First Financial Bancorp (NASDAQ: FFBC) is the holding company for First Financial Bank and several other banks and financial firms. It has about 105 branches in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana. It offers deposit accounts, CDs, credit cards, trust, asset management, and a wide array of loans and mortgages. It also has subsidiaries that offer insurance and wealth management. The bank had 2005 revenue of about $254 million and employs about 1,600 people. In September 2005, it sold its Fidelity Federal Savings Bank subsidiary.

Mark is a venture partner of Triathlon Medical Ventures in Cincinnati, which he joined in 2008 after retiring as president of Global Pharmaceuticals and Personal Health at Procter & Gamble.
