Yvonne Jordan manages the daily operations of Flagstar Bank's Public Funds Group. Her duties include bidding, processing and transferring deposits on behalf of municipal and educational entities throughout Michigan, Indiana and Georgia. In addition, she originates client documentation to establish and maintain public funds account relationships and handles procedural and reporting requirements.
Previously, Yvonne worked at Standard Federal Bank where she served as a savings and mortgage counselor, a technical and training specialist for retail banking software and an assistant relationship manager in Public Funds. Yvonne holds a B.S. in business administration from Oakland University.
As Director of Public Funds at Flagstar Bank, Pam Hardy creates and implements policies and procedures that define the bank's Public Funds Group. She builds business relationships with municipalities and educational entities in Michigan and Indiana, and serves as a liaison between public sector clients and the bank for investment and cash management products.
Pam joined Flagstar Bank after highly successful careers with Standard Federal Bank and Salomon Smith Barney.
At Standard Federal, Pam was vice president and assistant manager of the Funds Management department. She brings to Flagstar Bank extensive experience in helping Michigan's municipalities and other public authorities manage their general operating funds and develop and implement their written investment policies.
At Salomon Smith Barney Pam was responsible for managing public fund client asset allocation strategies encompassing Salomon Smith Barney's fixed income products and services.
Pam's professional credentials include memberships in the Michigan School Business Officials, Michigan Municipal Finance Officers Association, Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association, Michigan Association of County Treasurers and the Michigan and Georgia Government Finance Officers Associations. Alisha Dermyer-Smith joined the Public Funds Group in March, 2009. Alisha assists municipalities and school districts with their daily investment and banking needs throughout our footprint in the state of Georgia. She has been with Flagstar Bank since 2000, and also serves the Specialized Banking Division, handling the bank's top clients. Additionally, Alisha is the liaison for Flagstar's sponsorship with the Atlanta Falcons NFL organization.
Amy McCormic joined the Public Funds Group in 2007. Amy is responsible for opening and renegotiating deposits on behalf of municipal and educational entities throughout Michigan, Indiana and Georgia.
Prior to joining Flagstar Bank, Amy worked as a patient service representative at Exeter Hospital in New Hampshire.
Debbie Saarela is responsible for opening and renegotiating deposits on behalf of municipal and educational entities throughout Michigan, Indiana and Georgia. She also helps promote the bank's checking and direct deposit programs for public employees.
Debbie started at Flagstar Bank as an administrative assistant to the first vice president of Banking Center Operations before joining Public Funds in 2003. Previously, Debbie worked in the Public Funds and IRA departments at Standard Federal Bank.
Debbie is currently pursing a B.S. in business administration at Central Michigan University.
Hollie Theyssen delivers investment, checking and treasury management services to the bank's existing public sector clients while also seeking new clients for these services. Hollie serves these entities throughout the state of Indiana.
Previously, Hollie was employed by SRI Incorporated, working closely with county auditors and treasurers to collect delinquent property taxes. She facilitated tax sales on the county's behalf and researched properties slated to be sold, calculating taxes and penalties and assisting in the auctions. In addition, she worked with county treasurers' offices to collect business and personal taxes. She also has experience as a stockbroker and holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Her professional credentials include memberships in the Association of Indiana Counties, Indiana League of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers, Indiana Association of Cities and Towns and Indiana County Treasurers' Association.
Jay J. Hansen has served as a member of our Board and the Bank since 2005. Mr. Hansen is President and Chief Executive Officer of Hansen Enterprises Ltd LLC, a Michigan based company that he founded in 2009 to provide consulting services to manufacturing, distribution and financial services companies. Prior to that, Mr. Hansen served as Senior Vice President of Tweddle Group, a global market leader in technical publishing, providing content development, management, and delivery to the automotive and other manufacturing industries. During 2007, Mr. Hansen provided financial, operational, acquisition, strategic planning and integration services to several financial and manufacturing businesses, including integration, corporate development and strategic planning project work for Noble International, Ltd. Prior to December 2006, Mr. Hansen was Chief Operating Officer of Noble International, Ltd., a Nasdaq-listed company and a supplier of automotive parts, component assemblies and value-added services to the automotive industry, from February 2006 to December 2006, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from May 2003 to February 2006, and Vice President of Corporate Development from 2002 to 2003. Mr. Hansen was Vice President at Oxford Investment Group, a privately held merchant bank with holdings in a variety of business segments, from 1994 to 2002. Mr. Hansen is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania), where he received a bachelor s degree in 1985.
David J. Matlin became a director of Flagstar on January 30, 2009, effective as of the Closing and pursuant to the investment agreement. Mr. Matlin is the Chief Executive Officer of MatlinPatterson Global Advisers LLC, a $9.0 billion private equity firm, which he co-founded in July 2002. Prior to forming MatlinPatterson, Mr. Matlin was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston, and headed their Distressed Securities Group since its inception in 1994. Mr. Matlin was also a Managing Director and a founding partner of Merrion Group, L.P., a successor to Scully Brothers & Foss L.P., from 1988 to 1994. Mr. Matlin serves on the board of directors of Global Aviation Holdings and Standard Pacific Corp. Mr. Matlin holds a JD degree from the Law School of the University of California at Los Angeles and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

David L. Treadwell was nominated to the Board for election at the Annual Meeting. Mr. Treadwell has been President and Chief Executive Officer of EaglePicher Corporation, a $600 million diversified industrial products company, since August 2006, was Chief Operating Officer from November 2005 until August 2006, and was a division president from July 2005 until November 2005. From August 2004 until March 2005, Mr. Treadwell was Chief Executive Officer of Oxford Automotive, a $1 billion Tier 1 automotive supplier of stampings and welded assemblies, and from 2002 until August 2004, Mr. Treadwell provided business consulting services. Mr. Treadwell received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
Frank D Angelo has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Company since 2004. Mr. D Angelo is the President of Century 21 Hartford South, Inc., a Michigan-based real estate sales organization that he founded in 1972.
Dr. James D. Coleman has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Company since 1993 and of the Bank since 1987. He is a board certified physician who owned and operated several emergency room staffing companies prior to his retirement in 1997.
Lesley Goldwasser was nominated to the Board for election at the Annual Meeting. Ms. Goldwasser is a partner at Irving Place Capital, which she joined in 2008, focusing on new business development. From 1996 to 2008, Ms. Goldwasser was a senior managing director at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. and head of Global CDO s, co-head of Equity Capital, Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Hybrids, and Structured Solutions, and co-head of Asset-Backed Securities. Ms. Goldwasser is a graduate of the University of Cape Town.
