Flying Food Group began operations in 1983 at Chicago's Midway Airport. Sue Ling Gin, Chairman and CEO founded the company to provide catering services for the original Midway Airlines, an airline that was known at that time for its fresh, innovative in-flight service. From that small beginning, the company has grown to include fourteen in-flight kitchens in the United States and one in-flight kitchen in Shanghai, China. In addition to airline catering, Flying Food Group also operates a Meal Solution Division ,which supplies prepared meals for major grocery chains and specialty retailers. From its inception the Company has been committed to providing its customers with innovative quality products and service at competitive prices. Flying Food Group has established itself as an innovative leader in its markets and prides itself on its creative meal solutions.
