Paul Madera was a founder of Meritech in 1999 and currently focuses on the storage, semiconductor and digital consumer sectors. He has been directly involved with Riverbed Technology, Corvis Corporation, 2Wire, PeopleSupport, Salesforce.com, and IntraLase, Inc. Prior to Meritech, Paul was Managing Director and Head of the Private Equity Group at Montgomery Securities/Banc of America. He began his career in finance as an investment banker with Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York. Before joining Morgan Stanley, he served in the United States Air Force as an F-16 Instructor Pilot and a member of the Air Force Liaison Office and representative to the Senate and House Armed Services Committees. Paul holds a B.S. from the United States Air Force Academy and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Stanley J. Meresman has been a member of our board of directors since March 2005. Mr. Meresman was a Venture Partner with Technology Crossover Ventures, a private equity firm, from January through December 2004 and was General Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Technology Crossover Ventures from November 2001 to December 2003. During the four years prior to joining Technology Crossover Ventures, Mr. Meresman was a private investor and board member and advisor to several technology companies. From 1989 to May 1997, Mr. Meresman was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Silicon Graphics, Inc. Prior to Silicon Graphics, he was Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer of Cypress Semiconductor. Mr. Meresman holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Tim joined Worldview in January 2000 from Robertson Stephens and Company where he worked in equity research and focused on the telecom and networking equipment sectors. Tim's investments for Worldview are directed at the intersection of broadband, mobile and the Internet. Tim is a board member of Cogent Communications (NSAD: CCOI), Force10 Networks, Ooma Inc., Zoove Inc. and Visage Mobile. Previously, he was an investor in Avvenu (aquired by Motorola), Laurel Networks (aquired by ECI Telecom) and Movaz Networks (acquired by Adva Optical Inc.). Tim holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
