Alan Mulally is president and chief executive officer of Ford Motor Company. He also is a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining Ford in September 2006, Mulally served as executive vice president of The Boeing Company, and president and chief executive officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. In that role, he was responsible for all of the company’s commercial airplane programs and related services. Mulally also was a member of the Boeing Executive Council and served as Boeing’s senior executive in the Pacific Northwest. Mulally was named Boeing’s president of Commercial Airplanes in September 1998. The responsibility of chief executive officer for the business unit was added in March 2001. Previously, Mulally served as president of Boeing Information, Space & Defense Systems and senior vice president of The Boeing Company. Appointed to that role in February 1997, he was responsible for Boeing’s defense, space and government business. Beginning in 1994, Mulally was senior vice president of Airplane Development for Boeing Commercial Airplanes Group, responsible for all airplane development activities, flight test operations, certification and government technical liaison. Earlier, Mulally served as Boeing’s vice president of Engineering, and as vice president and general manager of the 777 program. Effective November 1, 2008, Eduardo Serrano is appointed President and CEO for Ford of Mexico. In this position, Eduardo is responsible for all the Commercial and Manufacturing operations in the country, including Marketing, Sales, Service, Public Affairs, IT, Legal, Government Affairs, Purchasing and Product Development, with a matrix report of Ford Motor Credit. He reports to David Schoch, executive director, Canada, Mexico and South America. Serrano was formerly Ford of Mexico chief operating officer and before that, president, Ford Andina, where he was responsible for all the Company operations in Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador. Phil Horlock is chairman and CEO of Ford Motor Land Development Corporation (Ford Land), the real estate arm and wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company. Appointed to this position in July 2008, he has global responsibility for real estate, engineering and construction, facilities management and energy for Ford Motor Company. Ford Motor Company's real estate portfolio consists of manufacturing, research, distribution and office properties in more than 35 countries. James G. (Jim) Vella is president, Ford Motor Company Fund and Community Services. In this role, he leads all philanthropic and community service-related activities, including coordination of volunteer efforts by Ford employees and all activities of Ford Motor Company Fund, a separate philanthropic organization funded by Ford Motor Company. Ford Fund's primary focus is education, and it also supports organizations and innovative programs that promote automotive safety education and assist communities with a variety of needs. Vella was named to his current position Dec. 1, 2006. Prior to this assignment, he served as Visiting University Professor at the University of Michigan Dearborn, a position he assumed in December 2005. In June 2004, Vella became Ford Motor Company's chief of staff, after serving as vice president, Public Affairs and chief of staff since April 2003. Terry Chenault is the president of Global Operations, Technology and Risk Management for Ford Motor Credit Company. He has worldwide responsibility for information technology, risk management, quality, customer satisfaction, 6-sigma and process management. Dr. Gerhard Schmidt is Chief Technical Officer, Vice President Research and Advanced Engineering at Ford Motor Company. Dr. Schmidt leads Ford's worldwide research organization based in Dearborn, Michigan, and Aachen, Germany. During his 21 years at BMW, he held a wide range of leadership roles in engine research and development. Dr. Schmidt received his degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1971 from the University of Aachen in Germany, and his Ph.D. in Investigations on Stratified Charge – Internal Combustion Engines in 1979 from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Aachen. Ellen Hughes-Cromwick is the Chief Economist for Ford Motor Company. J Mays is group vice president, Design, and chief creative officer, Ford Motor Company. He is responsible for shaping the design direction of Ford Motor Company’s eight global brands – Ford, Lincoln , Mercury, Mazda, Volvo, Land Rover, Jaguar and Aston Martin. In addition, through the expanded role he assumed Jan. 1, 2005 , Mays invests even more time working with individual brands to create and support more long-range strategic design visions. Mays, 50, has led the development of significant concept vehicles including the Ford Fairlane, Shelby GR-1 and ‘427,’ as well as the Jaguar F-Type and Volvo Safety Car Concept. He has also played an instrumental role in redesigning Ford Motor Company’s auto show display stand. In addition, he has been instrumental in creating several key new production models including the Aston Martin DB9, Land Rover LR3/Discovery, Ford GT and the all-new Ford Shelby Cobra GT500. Mays, who was born in Pauls Valley, Okla., launched his automotive design career at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena , Calif. Following graduation in 1980, he joined Audi AG in Ingolstadt , Germany , as an exterior designer. He moved to Munich in 1983 to work for BMW and returned to Audi the following year as a senior designer, where he worked to develop production model proposals for both Volkswagen and Audi. The Audi AVUS concept car, an iconic, polished aluminum celebration of Germany ’s legacy of automotive performance and technology, marked the highlight of his return. In 1989, Mays returned to the U.S. as Volkswagen of America’s chief designer in its Simi Valley , Calif. , Design Center , where he was responsible for the design and branding of the Volkswagen Concept 1, known today as the New Beetle. He returned to Germany in 1993 as Audi’s design director responsible for worldwide design strategy, development and execution. Mays shifted gears in 1995, as vice president of Design Development for SHR Perceptual Management, an ideation, branding and design consultancy that worked for numerous automotive companies, including Ford. Mays joined Ford Motor Company in 1997 as vice president, Design and was named group vice president in 2003. During his tenure with Ford, he has received numerous professional awards and recognition for his designs. Mays’ design philosophy and a cross-section of his vehicles were the subject of an exhibition called “Retrofuturism: The Car Design of J Mays” at the Geffen Contemporary of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles in November 2002. Lewis Booth was named the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective Nov. 1, 2008. Booth has overall responsibility for the company’s financial operations, including the Controller’s Office, Treasury and Investor Relations. Ken Macfarlane is vice president of Manufacturing for Ford of Europe and also is a Ford Motor Company vice president. He is responsible for the operations of 21 assembly, stamping and powertrain plants in Europe. Paul Mascarenas is Ford Motor Company's vice president of Engineering for global product development. Cischke was named senior vice president in April 2007. Cischke has served as Ford's top environmental and safety officer since January 2001. As Ford's chief safety officer, she leads the Driving Skills for Life program, a partnership between Ford Motor Company and the Governor's State Highway Traffic Association that teaches safe driving technique to teens. Moray Callum is Design director – Cars, responsible for implementing the design strategy and execution involving all Ford, Lincoln and Mercury cars in North America. Working closely with the rest of Design North America’s creative team, Callum brings new energy to the Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury cars and will further infuse “Red, White & Bold” style into both the exterior and interior designs on the expanding lineup of cars. Since 2001, Callum was general manager, Design Division, Mazda Motor Corporation, responsible for overseeing all aspects of Mazda’s design efforts for both production and concept vehicles. Thai-Tang's other Ford experience also include stints as Vehicle Engineering Manager on the Lincoln LS, an international assignment in Cologne, Germany, as well as an assignment with Ford Racing on the IndyCar circuit. In 1993, Thai-Tang served as race engineer for Nigel Mansell and Mario Andretti on Ford's Newman-Haas IndyCar team. His efforts contributed to six victories, eleven podium finishes, and the overall driver's and manufacturer's championship. In 2001 Hau was awarded the Young Leadership and Excellence Award by the Automotive Hall of Fame. He also was named the Asian Executive of the Year by On Wheels Inc. in 2006. Janet Lawson is the Director of the Ford Volunteer Corps, part of Ford Motor Company Fund and Community Services, the philanthropic arm of Ford Motor Company. Lawson came to Ford with a 20-year history of collaborative leadership in the nonprofit and corporate sectors. She exemplifies a life-long commitment to service, volunteerism, and corporate citizenship. Since her arrival at Ford in the fall of 2006, Lawson has lead a team that has launched a new volunteer initiative called MODEL Teams, created an interactive non-profit “agency driven” volunteer management system, quintupled volunteer activity among Ford volunteers worldwide and launched the Ford corporate volunteer initiative to salaried, hourly and agency employees, as well as Ford retirees nationwide. In 2004, Lawson was appointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm as the executive director of the Michigan Community Service Commission (MCSC). Lawson coordinated Mentor Michigan, an initiative of Governor Granholm's developed to increase the number of mentor/mentee matches in Michigan. During her tenure with the MCSC, Lawson also directed Federal AmeriCorps grants within Michigan, collaborated with the Michigan Department of Education to deliver Learn and Serve grants to establish Service Learning as a curriculum reform, worked with the Michigan State Police to direct Homeland Security dollars through Michigan Citizen Corps, redesigned the Governor's Service Awards – an annual state-wide volunteer recognition event and worked with MCSC commissioners to create an epidemic of service in Michigan. From 2000-2004, Lawson served as the national director of the UAW-Ford Family Service and Learning Centers sponsored by the United Auto Workers, Ford Motor Company and Visteon. While in this position, she and her team annually mobilized 20,000 volunteers, engaged more than 75,000 participants in life-long learning activities, designed programming at 31 locations nationwide and achieved a 90 percent plus user satisfaction rating. From 1995-2000, Lawson served as the manager of the Volunteer Leadership Coalition under former Governor George Romney, Harold A. "Red" Poling, Doug Fraser and the Honorable Anna Diggs Taylor. Lawson also worked at United Way Community Services as the manager of Detroit’s Promise and the director of Volunteer Services. She also is an experienced educator and is involved in a variety of community activities in southeast Michigan.

Peter Fleet is Regional Director, European Sales Operations for Ford of Europe, effective September 1, 2007. He is responsible for the Ford national sales operations in Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece and the developing markets within the Ford EDM organisation. Prior to this position Peter Fleet was European Commercial Vehicle Director for Marketing, Sales and Service from March 2004. He also joined the Cause Related Marketing Team of Business in the Community. Peter joined the Ford of Europe Leadership Team in March 2004. Peter was born in Hertfordshire, UK, in 1967 and is married with one son. He graduated from the University of Southampton in 1989 with a BSc in Politics and International Relations.

John V. Felice is general marketing manager, Ford Division, effective January 23, 2006. In this role, Felice is responsible for all marketing functions of the Ford brand. Mary Lou Quesnell was appointed Director, Brand DNA effective January, 2006. Quesnell joined Ford in June 1985, and has held positions in Marketing and Sales, Ford's Car Product Development, Ford of Europe Marketing and Sales, and the Ford Automotive Strategy Office. Those positions included Market Representation Manager for Lincoln Mercury and the position of Executive Director, Global Consumer Insights. Peter J. Daniel is senior vice president and controller, Ford Motor Company, effective Sept. 1, 2006. He reports to Don Leclair, executive vice president and chief financial officer. Prior to this position, he was vice president and president, Ford Asia Pacific and Africa. Daniel has held numerous international positions in Finance, including assignments with Ford's operations in South America and Asia Pacific. His roles have included assignments in Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia and Brazil. Daniel, an Australian native, joined Ford in 1971. In the early 1980s, he was director of finance for Ford Malaysia and held a number of Finance positions in Ford Australia and Ford Asia Pacific before becoming director of finance for Ford Lio Ho in Taiwan in 1990. He then moved to the U.S. in 1994 and held a number of key Finance positions in Product Development. In 1996, he served as director of Finance, Ford Argentina-Brazil and then director of Finance for Ford South American Operations. In 1999, he was named Manufacturing controller and in 2003, he was named controller, North America, followed by controller of The Americas. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Melbourne University in Australia in 1968.

Emily Kolinski Morris, senior economist, The Americas, is responsible for the business environment analysis of the North American and South American markets in the Corporate Economics and Strategic Issues Office at Ford Motor Company. Kolinski Morris develops forecasts for both the automotive industry and overall economy. She also conducts in-depth studies on issues affecting the auto industry such as pricing trends and the foreign exchange markets. DR. HOMER A. NEAL, vice president for research at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, was elected to the Board of Directors on Jan. 1, 1997. Dr. Neal joined the University of Michigan as chairman of the university's physics department in 1987. In 1993, he was named vice president for research and professor of physics. Dr. Neal has had extended scientist-in-residence appointments at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen and at the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneva. He serves on the board of Ogden Corporation and is a former member of the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan board. Dr. Neal received his B.S. degree in physics from Indiana University and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the University of Michigan. Dr. Neal is a member of the Audit Committee, the Organization Review and Nominating Committee, and the Environmental and Public Policy Issues Committee.
