Spreading good beer! Foster's Group (ASX: FGL) is a global multi-beverage company. The company produces beer, wine, spirits, cider and non-alcoholic beverages. It makes and markets Foster's Lager and wines and spirits like Wolf Blass, Penfolds, Rosemount, Saltram, Beringer, Lindemans, Matua, Chateau St Jean, The Black Douglas scotch, SKYY vodka and Cougar Bourbon. Founded in 1876, the company has revenue of $3.03billion, is based in Southbank, Victoria, Australia, and employs about 10,300 people. The company completed its takeover offer for Southcorp Limited in June 2005. In March 2006 the company won the Sainsbury Impulse Supplier of the Year Award at Sainsbury's Annual Branded Supplier Conference.
