John A. Koskinen was named as Freddie Mac’s interim chief executive officer in March 2009, having served as non-executive chairman since September 2008, when the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) placed the company into conservatorship. He will be serving in this capacity until FHFA appoints a permanent CEO. As non-executive chairman, Koskinen was responsible for ensuring strong corporate governance and forming a new Board of Directors for Freddie Mac. He was appointed to the position by FHFA Director James B. Lockhart. Koskinen has extensive public and private sector experience. He worked at the Palmieri Company for many years, including serving as President and CEO from 1979 to 1993. There he participated in the restructuring and turnarounds of many companies including the Penn Central Transportation Company, Levitt and Sons, Inc. and Mutual Benefit, the largest insurance company in history to fail. Most recently, Koskinen served as president of the United States Soccer Foundation. Prior to that, he served as deputy mayor and city administrator of the District of Columbia, where he was responsible for the operation of all city departments. Koskinen has also occupied several senior positions with the federal government, including service as deputy director for management in the Office of Management and Budget, where he coordinated the work of the chief financial officers, chief information officers and inspectors general of all government agencies. He also guided the country into the new millennium as the Chair of the President’s Council on Year 2000 Conversion. Koskinen earned his law degree from the Yale University School of Law, where he was graduated cum laude. He also has a Bachelor’s degree magna cum laude in physics from Duke University. He served for 12 years as a trustee of Duke University and was also chairman of the Board for three years. He currently serves on the Boards of the AES Corporation, American Capital, Ltd. and the nonprofit D.C. Education Compact.

Anurag Saksena joined Freddie Mac as senior vice president and chief enterprise risk officer in August 2005. He is a member of the leadership team and reports directly to CEO David M. Moffett. In this role, Saksena is responsible for providing an independent, cross-divisional assessment of Freddie Mac's management of and exposure to market risk, operational risk, enterprise risk modeling and related activities. Saksena has 20 years of experience in establishing and managing risk frameworks in organizations of varying size, complexity and cultures. Most recently, he led Enterprise Risk Management at General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC), a global financial services subsidiary of General Motors. During his five years at GMAC, Saksena crafted the foundation and strategy for a comprehensive enterprise risk management framework, established firm-wide minimum risk standards, and led the development of best-practice risk measurement models for market, credit and operational risks. He also designed and conducted a firm-wide risk management education and awareness program. In addition, Saksena founded Enterprise Risk Advisors, LLC in Minneapolis, a risk management consultancy that focused on the development and implementation of enterprise-risk solutions for financial and non-financial organizations. He has also held risk and portfolio management positions of increasing responsibilities at Société Générale in New York, Royal Bank Financial Group in Toronto and Great-West Life Assurance Company in Winnipeg. Saksena is a graduate of the executive development program at Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania. Frank E. Nothaft was appointed to the position of chief economist in December 2001. In this position, Nothaft is responsible for primary and secondary mortgage market analysis and research, macroeconomic analysis and forecasting. Nothaft is also involved in the analysis of affordable lending activities and policy issues affecting the housing industry. Prior to being named chief economist, Nothaft served as deputy chief economist for Freddie Mac from 1988, and as a senior economist from November 1986. Nothaft was an economist with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System from 1983 until 1986, where he served in the mortgage and consumer finance section and as the assistant to Governor Henry C. Jerry Weiss was named senior vice president of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs and chief compliance officer in April 2008. Raymond G. Romano was named Freddie Mac's chief credit officer in December 2008. This position reports to Freddie Mac CEO David Moffett and leads the company’s credit risk management efforts including credit policy, counterparty credit risk management, and loss forecasting and is responsible for enterprise-wide credit risk management activities. Mike Perlman was named Freddie Mac's executive vice president of Operations and Technology in August 2007. Perlman is responsible for managing the largest segment of Freddie Mac's business operations, including all of the company's mortgage origination and servicing, investment and capital markets operations, and information systems divisions. He is a member of the company's leadership team and reports directly to CEO David M. Moffett. During his 30-year career, Perlman has established a track record of successfully redesigning operations and technology infrastructures, as well as in-depth knowledge of the mortgage securitization business. Paul G. George was named executive vice president for Human Resources in August 2005. He reports directly to Freddie Mac Chairman and CEO Richard F. Syron. As the company's chief human resources executive, George is responsible for leading all aspects of the HR function and ensuring strong support of the company's business objectives. Specifically, he is responsible for recruiting, compensation and benefits, organizational development, training and management development, employee relations and diversity. Ralph F. Boyd, Jr. was named executive vice president, Community Relations in February 2005. He is a member of the company's leadership team and reports directly to CEO David M. Moffett. Boyd also serves as chairman and CEO of the Freddie Mac Foundation. In these roles, he oversees the national capital region's largest philanthropic program, which includes corporate giving, employee volunteer activities, and Foundation grant making, while also serving as a member of the Foundation's Investment Committee. Robert E. Bostrom was named executive vice president and general counsel in February 2006. Bostrom is a member of the company’s leadership team and reports directly to CEO David M. Moffett. In his role as principal legal counsel to Freddie Mac, Bostrom has oversight and management responsibility for all legal and regulatory strategies, services, and resources and corporate governance matters. Bostrom joined Freddie Mac from Winston & Strawn LLP, where he had been managing partner of the New York office, a member of the firm's executive committee, and head of its financial institutions practice. Bostrom originally joined Winston & Strawn in 1990. At Winston & Strawn, in addition to his financial institutions practice, Bostrom advised clients in connection with corporate governance and Sarbanes-Oxley issues, the structuring of compliance and enterprise risk management programs and internal controls, Board of Director and Audit Committee issues, regulatory examinations, and strategic planning. He was a member of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer, the Management Committee and the Risk Policy Committee. He also served on the board of directors of NatWest Bank (Delaware) and Coutts International. Bostrom's legal career spans more than 25 years. Donald J. Bisenius was named senior vice president of Credit Policy and Portfolio Management in October 2003. He reports to the Executive Vice President of Investments and Capital Markets. In this role, Bisenius manages the overall profitability and performance of Freddie Mac's single family credit business. Since 1998, Bisenius served as senior vice president of Risk Assessment & Model Development; Mortgage Offerings, Risk & Capital Management; and most recently Mortgage Credit Risk Management in the Single Family Capital Deployment Division. In these roles, Bisenius managed the overall credit risk exposure of the single family business, including establishing the firm's single family credit policies. Prior to that, Bisenius served as vice president of Mortgage Credit Policy. His responsibilities included overseeing credit policy development and evaluating overall portfolio quality. Michael C. May was appointed to the position of senior vice president, Multifamily Sourcing, on August 11, 2005. He is a member of the company's leadership team and reports directly to CEO David M. Moffett. In this position, May is responsible for customer relations, product development, marketing, sales, loan purchase, and asset management for the company's multifamily business, which includes the flow mortgage, structured and affordable mortgage, CMBS and low-income housing tax credit portfolios. The total multifamily portfolio, including our investments in LIHTC partnerships and CMBS, was $148 billion as of June 30, 2008. Previously, May served as senior vice president, Operations, starting in February 2005 where he was responsible for all operations of the company including single family mortgage purchase, servicing, and default operations; commercial loan purchase servicing and default operations; treasury operation; pass thru, REMIC, and debt security issuance and bond administration; investment settlement and servicing operations; and transactional accounting for business operations. May also served as senior vice president, Mortgage, Operations & Funding (MSOF) from October 2003 to February 2005. In that position, May performed the general manager function for Freddie Mac's single family business. This included customer relations, mortgage investor relations, product development, marketing, sales, pricing, automated underwriting, loan purchase, loan servicing, default management, REO operations, securities issuance, bond administration, accounting and all systems development supporting the operation. Prior to that, May held the position of senior vice president, Single Family Operations at Freddie Mac from July 2002 to October 2003. In this capacity, he was responsible for all operations associated with the purchase and servicing of single-family mortgages, as well as the operational infrastructure, technology, and organizational environment activities for Freddie Mac's single-family business. Paul E. Mullings was named senior vice president for Single Family Sourcing in June 2005. He reports directly to Freddie Mac's President and COO Eugene M. McQuade. In this position, Mullings is responsible for managing and building relations with Freddie Mac's more than 2,000 lender customers. Mullings joined Freddie Mac from JP Morgan Chase where he was senior vice president, manager Mortgage Finance, and Fair Lending executive at Chase Home Finance, the nation's fourth largest residential mortgage lender. Mullings had direct responsibility for a number of broad mortgage finance initiatives, including the strengthening of Chase Home Finance's emerging markets business model and its private-label mortgage-backed securities program. Prior to joining Chase Home Finance in 1997, Mullings was president and CEO of Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc. (MERS). He led MERS during the organization's launch and successful capitalization, and was instrumental in the development of the first set of industry standards that are leading the mortgage market to a paperless process. Mullings has also been the president and CEO of the residential mortgage division of First Interstate Bank, Los Angeles, and held a series of increasingly responsible senior management positions at Glendale Federal Bank, Glendale, CA. Hollis McLoughlin was named senior vice president, External Relations at Freddie Mac in January 2006. McLoughlin is a member of Freddie Mac's leadership team and reports directly to CEO David M. Moffett. In this role, he is responsible for managing Freddie Mac's external relations function in order to meet the company's outreach and communications needs. McLoughlin oversees the following departments: Corporate & Marketing Communications, Corporate Relations & Housing Outreach, and Government & Industry Relations. McLoughlin first joined Freddie Mac as senior vice president and chief of staff in April 2004. In that role, McLoughlin focused on supporting the office of the chairman and coordinating strategic and tactical deliverables between the office and the senior management team. Prior to joining Freddie Mac, McLoughlin had been chief operating officer of two private equity-backed operating companies. Before that, he was one of the founding partners of Darby Overseas, a private equity partner based in Washington, D.C. He has also been a senior executive at Purolator Courier, the overnight delivery company, and a privately held transportation company. McLoughlin served from 1989 through 1992 as assistant secretary of the Treasury under President George Bush, where he was responsible for the coordination of all policy and management of several key internal functions. He served as chief of staff to Sen. Nicholas Brady, R-N.J., in 1982 and to Rep. Millicent Fenwick, R-N.J., from 1975 to 1979. McLoughlin is a graduate of Harvard College.

Mark D. Hanson was named vice president of Mortgage Funding in December 1999. In this role, he manages Freddie Mac's funding purchases through securitization, including structured finance, marketing and modeling, and has oversight of the performance of Freddie Mac's Gold Participation Certificates (PCs). He is also responsible for Freddie Mac's relationships with institutional investors and securities information vendors, and developing and implementing new security products and services to meet customer needs. Hanson was previously a vice president at Lazard Asset Management, where he managed mortgage and asset-backed positions for institutional clients since 1997. Since 1986, Hanson has held a number of positions, including a research/sales position in Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette's Taxable Fixed-Income Division, a director of Research for Freddie Mac's Securities Sales & Trading Group, and a security analyst at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company's Mortgage Securities and Portfolio Strategies Departments. Hanson has a B.S. from Allegheny College and an MBA from the University of Rochester. Michael Dawson is vice president of multiclass issuance, and is responsible for all aspects of Freddie Mac's structured products issuance programs, including all REMICs, Strips, and structured passthroughs. His responsibilities encompass underwriter group management, marketing, new product issuance, disclosure, mortgage and CMO analytics, and deal structuring and management. Dawson joined Freddie Mac in 1985. Prior to leading the Multiclass Issuance area, he managed Freddie Mac's Gold PC issuance programs, Freddie Mac's external money manager program, and mortgage investor and dealer relationships. He earned a B.S. degree in finance from Virginia Tech and an M.B.A. from George Mason University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is a member of the CFA Institute and past President of the Washington Society of Investment Analysts. Timothy Kenny became Freddie Mac’s senior vice president and general auditor in July 2008. He reports directly to the audit committee of Freddie Mac’s board of directors and administratively to CEO David M. Moffett. In this position, Kenny supervises the Internal Audit Department, which is responsible for all internal audit activities and coordinating audit practices and procedures with Freddie Mac’s external auditor. Prior to this, Kenny served as the company’s vice president and interim general auditor. He joined Freddie Mac in September 2007. From 2001 to 2007, Kenny was a managing director with BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting) where he directed a large team of financial professionals on a variety of financial risk management consulting projects with Ginnie Mae, the Federal Housing Administration, private sector mortgage bankers, the Treasury Department and other federal credit agencies. He was appointed a member of the BearingPoint 401(k) Plan Committee. He joined KPMG, the predecessor organization to KPMG Consulting, in 1986, was promoted to a KPMG audit partner in 1997, and served in that position until the separation of KPMG Consulting from KPMG in 2001. Kenny is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Utah. He was a member of the board of directors of Farmer Mac serving on its audit and corporate governance committees. He also served on the board of directors of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Metropolitan Washington.

Barbara T. Alexander became a Director of the company in August 2006. A former senior advisor at UBS Securities and managing director at Dillon Reed & Co., Ms. Alexander's career spans more than 30 years in finance. Her distinguished career includes numerous international investment companies and philanthropic organizations. In 1987, Salomon Brothers Inc. appointed Ms. Alexander the first female managing director in the company's history. She was previously among the top investment bankers at Dillon Reed & Co.
