Safe-deposit facilities, discount brokerage services, annuities, life insurance products, and mutual funds are offered by the bank, though it engages primarily in collecting deposits and generating commercial, agriculture and real estate mortgage loans. In February 2006, the company announced the completed acquisition of NorthStar Financial Corporation for approximately $48.2 million.
