R. DANIEL BRDAR named FuelCell Energy’s Chief Executive Officer at the start of
2006, Mr. Brdar was appointed Chairman of the Board in 2007. Mr. Brdar has an
extensive track record as a member of the company’s management team. Since joining
the firm in 2000, he has led manufacturing, sales and marketing, and product
development operations, and was responsible for the FuelCell Energy’s successful
cost-out efforts. Mr. Brdar has 24 years of combined technology development and new
product introduction experience in a variety of executive positions within the industry.
Prior to joining FuelCell Energy, he held management positions at General Electric,
where he focused on new product introduction programs for its GE Power Systems
business unit, and was product manager for its gas turbine technology. Prior to GE he
was Associate Director, Office of Power Systems Product Management, at the U.S. Department of Energy where
he was responsible for directing the research, development and demonstration of advanced power systems
including advanced gas turbines, gasification systems and fuel cells. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in
Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1981.

Mr. Mahler joined the Company in October 1998 as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary, and Treasurer. Mr. Mahler's responsibilities include finance, accounting, corporate governance, strategy, treasury, information systems and human resources. Mr. Mahler was Vice President-Chief Financial Officer at Earthgro, Inc. from 1993 to 1998 and worked at Ernst & Young in the New York and Hartford offices from 1974 to 1992. Mr. Mahler was a partner in the Hartford office's Entrepreneurial Services Group. Mr. Mahler received a B.S. in Accounting from Boston College in 1974.

Mr. Ludemann joined the Company in April 2006. His responsibilities encompass all the Company's business development activities across global markets. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Ludemann had been a senior marketing and sales executive with Siemens, where he oversaw sales and marketing efforts for the firm's Power Generation and Transmission & Distribution business units. Earlier, he had been with ABB Power Transmission & Distribution Inc.; the industrial control firm Square D; and Swiss electrical equipment manufacturer BBC Brown Boveri. He also served four years in the U.S. Navy specializing in electric power generation and distribution systems. Mr. Ludemann studied business at Barry University in Miami and holds an Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.

Alex graduated from UConn in the Sping of 2008 with a BS in Chemical Engineering, and is currently working as a process engineer at Fuel Cell Energy. He has been dancing on the team since his sophomore year in 2005. In 2006 he held the position of team trainer, and in his senior year Alex held the position of President. One of Alex's passions is music, and one of the reasons he enjoys ballroom dancing is that it allows him to dance to the music he loves so much.

Mr. Epstein began his career as an engineer at General Electric before moving to the U.K.
to take on progressive management roles with Oxford Instruments plc. He was recruited
to Intermagnetics in 1997 as President and COO, took over as CEO in 1999 and was
elected Chairman in 2002. Mr. Epstein led Intermagnetics through multiple years of high
growth and expansion until negotiating the sale of Intermagnetics to Royal Philips for
$1.3 billion last year. He recently left Philips after leading a successful integration of both
companies MR imaging businesses.
Mr. England is an independent business consultant and the CEO and a director of Stahlman-England Irrigation Inc. and HEMS, LLC, an investment partnership. Previously, Mr. England was Chairman, President and CEO of Sweet Ripe Drinks, Ltd., a fruit beverage company. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at John Labatt Ltd., a $5 billon public company, and served as the company's CFO from 1990-1993. Mr. England started his career with Arthur Anderson & Co. in Toronto after serving in the Canadian infantry. Mr. England is a director of Enbridge, Inc. and is a past member of the board of directors of John Labatt Ltd., Canada Malting Co., Ltd., and the St. Clair Paint and Wallpaper Corporation.
James L. Kempner has served on our Board of Directors since August 2006. Mr. Kempner is a Managing Director at Lazard Freres & Co. LLC, which he joined in 1983, and was named a General Partner in 1993. Mr. Kempner has been involved in numerous banking and capital markets transactions, including advising Intersections on its initial public offering, and ran Lazard s Corporate Finance department from 1995-1998. Mr. Kempner serves on the Board of The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and its Finance Committee. Mr. Kempner is the son of Thomas L. Kempner. Thomas L. Kempner has served on our Board of Directors since the inception of CreditComm, the predecessor to Intersections Inc. Mr. Kempner has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Loeb Partners Corporation and its predecessors since 1979. Mr. Kempner is currently a director of Dyax Corporation, FuelCell Energy, Inc. and IGENE Biotechnology, Inc., and is currently a director emeritus at Northwest Airlines, Inc. Mr. Kempner is the father of James L. Kempner.

Richard Bromley began his career at the law firm of Riddell, Riddell & Williams in
Seattle, Washington, before joining AT&T in 1965. During his 38-year career at AT&T,
he served as an attorney for Pacific Northwest Bell, Western Electric, Bell Labs, and as a
general attorney in AT&T's New York headquarters. As VP-Law and
Government Affairs, Mr. Bromley was responsible for all of AT&T's legal, regulatory
and governmental matters west of the Mississippi. He is a member of the bar in
California, New York, Washington, and Oregon, as well as the United State Supreme
Court.

In the administration of President Gerald R. Ford, Secretary West was Associate Deputy
Attorney General in the U.S. Department of Justice. Under President Jimmy Carter’s
administration, he was General Counsel of the Navy, then Special Assistant to the
Secretary and the Deputy Secretary of Defense, and, later, General Counsel of the
Department of Defense. During the first Clinton administration he was Secretary of the
Army and, during the President’s second term, was named Secretary of Veterans Affairs
and a member of the President’s Cabinet.
During his career in private practice, Secretary West was a partner at the New York law
firm of Patterson, Belknap, Webb and Tyler and was of counsel to the Washington D.C.-
based law firm of Covington & Burling. Secretary West was also the Senior Vice
President for Government Affairs with defense contractor Northrop Corporation prior to
serving as Secretary of the Army.

Mr. Bagatelle has served as a Director since 2004. He is currently Chairman of the Audit and Finance Committee and a member of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee. He has been a Managing Director of Loeb Partners Corporation, an investment banking firm, and a director of Full Cell Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq: FCEL), a world leader in the development of high temperature hydrogen fuel cells for clean electric power generation, since 1988. Mr. Bagatelle is also the Chairman of the Board of VirtualScopics, Inc. (Nasdaq: VSCP), a medical imaging and technology services company.
Mr. Lawson has been President of W.A. Lawson Associates, an industrial and financial consulting firm, since 1987. Mr. Lawson is past Chairman of the Board of Directors of Newcor, Inc.
