Board of Directors
Jay M. Meilstrup has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer since July 2005 and as a director since March 2005. Prior to joining our company, Mr. Meilstrup served as the Senior Vice President, Niagara Properties of Niagara Falls Casino in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, from October 2003 to September 2004. From October 1998 to October 2003, Mr. Meilstrup served as the General Manager of Casino Niagara. From February 1997 to October 1998, Mr. Meilstrup served as Vice President of Game Development for Shuffle Master Gaming. Prior to that, Mr. Meilstrup served as Product Marketing Manager for Bally Gaming, Inc.; Vice President of Operations for the Oasis Resort Hotel Casino; and Director of Casino Operations at the Santa Fe Hotel Casino.
Donald Tateishi was named our Chief Financial Officer effective June 26, 2007 and was appointed as Secretary and Treasurer in June 2007.
Prior to joining our company Mr. Tateishi served as Director of Finance for Harrah’s Reno. In addition to the position of Director of Finance, he has
served as Director of Planning and Analysis for Harrah’s Entertainment Western Division, as well as Casino Controller for Harrah’s Lake Tahoe.
Ms. Martin is a talented senior business leader with over 13 years of financial experience at the executive level and with over 10 years financial experience in the gaming industry, including as Vice President, Corporate Controller with Alliance Gaming Corporation/Bally Gaming & Systems. Most recently, Ms. Martin served as President, Western Division and Corporate CFO with the Holder Hospitality Group.
In addition to her position as President, Western Division and Corporate CFO with Holder Hospitality Group, Ms. Martin has served as Vice President Controller, Strategic Planning with Twentieth Century Fox, Inc. as well as Vice President, Finance and Administration with GES Exposition Services. She began her career with Price Waterhouse & Co. as an auditor. MS. Martin received her Bachelor of Science from the Ohio State University and her CPA from the State of California.
Previously, Mr. Minard served as Executive Vice President of Sales for Cadillac Jack, Inc. where he directed their US sales activity. Prior to this position, Mr. Minard was the Chief Financial Officer for Cadillac Jack, Inc. Mr. Minard’s background also includes marketing and software management, having been the President at E-Source, Inc., the Chief Executive Officer at TradeUps, Inc., and Executive Vice President of Product Development and Marketing with SCI.
Previously, Mr. Greenwood served as Vice President and General Manager for Bally Distributing were he introduced the Black Gold game, a high denominational game. As co-founder of Global Gaming, Greenwood successfully marketed and deployed the Silver Strike game. Greenwood also was Vice President of U.S. Sales and Product Development for Innovative Gaming Corporation of America (IGCA).
Prior to joining GameTech, Mr. Crawford held the position of Vice President of Gaming Technology and Service for BMM International where he was responsible for North American operations, including the Testing Lab and Technology Services. Mr. Crawford also held the position as the Sr. Systems Engineer for Gaming Laboratories International in their Colorado test center. Within Bally Systems, he created a comprehensive Compliance Department for serving regulatory agencies across North America. In Mr. Crawford’s role as Director of Electronic Gaming – Regulatory Affairs for Harrah’s Entertainment, he was the primary regulatory contact for all properties and regulators in central, western, and international locations.
Richard T. Fedor, a co-founder of our company, has served as our Chairman of the Board since December 2003 and as a director since June 1994. Mr. Fedor served as our Vice-Chairman from October 2000 until December 2003. Mr. Fedor served as our interim Chief Executive Officer from August 1999 until October 2000 and as our Chief Executive Officer from June 1994 until March 1998. Mr. Fedor also served as our President from June 1994 until August 1997. From 1991 to 1994, Mr. Fedor's occupation was that of a private investor. From 1987 to 1991, Mr. Fedor was President of ZYGO Corporation, a manufacturer of high-performance, laser-based electro-optical measuring instruments. From 1985 to 1987, Mr. Fedor held the position of Operations Vice President at International Game Technology. Mr. Fedor has also held various senior management positions at Hewlett Packard and GTE.
Prior to coming to GameTech, Mr. Huff was Senior Director of Operations for United Coin Machine. He has also held the position of Vice President of Operations with AC Coin & Slot Service, Operations Director with Japan Cash Machine American Corp., and Production Director at International Game Technology. Mr. Huff recently achieved his Associates Degree in Applied Service Management from Wyoming Tech.
Donald K. Whitaker has served as a member of our Board of Directors since March 2004. Mr. Whitaker is the founder, the Chairman of the
Board and has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Ceronix, Inc., a leading manufacturer of custom designed color video monitors for the gaming
industry, since 1984.
Richard H. Irvine has served as our Vice-Chairman since March 2007 and as a director of our company since January 2001. Currently, Mr. Irvine is retired. From April 2004 to April 2005, Mr. Irvine served as Senior Vice President, North America for Bally s Gaming. From January 2002 through January 2004, Mr. Irvine served as Vice President of Sales for A. C. Coin, a gaming company headquartered in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Mr. Irvine served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Planning and Development for GameTech International, Inc. from February 1999 through November 2001. Mr. Irvine served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Mikohn Gaming Corporation from July 1995 until September 1998. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Irvine served as Senior Vice President Marketing and Entertainment for Boomtown, Inc. Mr. Irvine was Vice President of Marketing for worldwide Walt Disney attractions from 1991 to 1993. Mr. Irvine has served as a director of GameTech International, Inc. since September 2005.
