Bruce J. Bergman, Esq. Has served as a Director since November 1994. He is a partner with the Garden City, New York, law firm of Berkman, Henoch, Peterson & Peddy, P.C. where he practices real estate litigation and mortgage foreclosure. Previously, Mr. Bergman was a Deputy Attorney, Nassau County and a Deputy Bureau Chief for Special Litigation. Author of the three-volume text Bergman on New York Mortgage Foreclosures, Matthew Bender & Co., Inc. (rev. 2006), Mr. Bergman is also an adjunct associate professor of real estate at the New York University Real Estate Institute, a special lecturer in law at Hofstra Law School, a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. He was three times elected City Councilman in Long Beach, New York and served in that capacity from 1980 through 1988. Mr. Bergman received a B.S. from Cornell University in 1966 and a J.D. from Fordham Law School in 1969. Dr. Harber graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also has a Masters degree in exercise physiology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Harber completed his internship, residency and cardiology fellowship training at Botsford General Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and nuclear cardiology. He is the Director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Botsford General Hospital. He is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology. He regularly lectures at Garden City, Oakwood and Annapolis Hospitals and in the community on various topics in cardiology, general health and fitness. Philip F. Malloy, Jr. lives with his wife, Paula and 2 daughters in Franklin Square and have been life long parishioners of St. Catherine of Sienna Parish. Phil is a retired New York City Police Officer and a member of the Franklin Square and Munson Fire Departments where he held the ranks of Chief of Department and is currently Commissioner of the District.
