D. Ellen Shuman, Consultant. Ms. Shuman is Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Carnegie Corporation of New York. A graduate of Bowdoin College and the Yale School of Management, Ms. Shuman worked in the Yale University Investments Office from 1986 to 1998. She reported to the Chief Investment Officer and was active in all areas of the portfolio, in particular the development of its real estate program. She was a lecturer at Yale College and the Yale School of Management from 1994 to 1998. Ms. Shuman became Carnegie's Chief Investment Officer in 1999. In that position she is responsible for investment of its $2.4 billion endowment, including asset allocation, portfolio risk analysis and manager selection. She has overseen the expansion of the Corporation's traditional portfolio into alternative assets, including absolute return, private equity and real estate. Ms. Shuman is a trustee of Bowdoin College and a member of its investment committee. She is a director of the The Investment Fund for Foundations, serves as an investment advisor to the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation, and is a director of General American Investors (NYSE:GAM), one of the oldest closed end funds in the United States.

Arthur G. Altschul, Jr. is the Co-Founder of Kolltan and Chairman of Kolltan's Board of Directors. Mr. Altschul has worked in money management, investment banking and as a member of senior management of a publicly-traded health care concern. He is a founder of Diaz & Altschul Capital Management, LLC, a private investment advisory firm. Between 1985 and 1991, Mr. Altschul worked, variously, at Goldman, Sachs & Co., The Maximus Fund, LP and Morgan Stanley & Co. From its founding in 1992 through 1996, Mr. Altschul worked at SUGEN, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on cancer drug development, which was subsequently acquired by Pharmacia & Upjohn, Inc. Mr. Altschul is chairman of the board of directors of Medrium, Inc., a leader in medical transaction processing; he serves on the board of directors of General American Investors, Inc. (NYSE: GAM), a publicly-traded closed-end investment company with over $1 billion in gross assets and Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation (NYSE: MRX), a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the dermatology market. He also is a director of the Delta Opportunity Fund, Ltd., and Diversified Natural Products, Inc. Mr. Altschul is a director of The Overbrook Foundation, and is a trustee of The Neurosciences Research Foundation, and the National Public Radio Foundation. Mr. Altschul received his B.Sc. in Computer Science from Columbia University.

Spencer Davidson , age 66, has been our director since January 1999. Since 1994, Mr. Davidson has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and director, and since April of 2007 has served as Chairman, of General American Investors Company, Inc., a closed-end investment company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. His background also includes a distinguished career on Wall Street with positions held at Brown Brothers Harriman; Beck, Mack & Oliver, investment counselors, where he served as General Partner; and Odyssey Partners, a private investment firm, where he served as Fund Manager.
