Dan W. Denney, Jr., Ph.D. is our founder and has served as our Chief Executive Officer since November 1999 and Chairman of the Board since August 1996. Dr. Denney did his postdoctoral research in the Chemistry Department at Stanford University, where he was a Merck Fellow. Dr. Denney then served as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Alberta in Canada prior to founding Genitope. Dr. Denney holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Stanford University School of Medicine.

John M. Vuko has served as or Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer since April 2004. From December 1999 to October 2003, Mr. Vuko was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Incyte Corporation, a drug discovery company, where he remained an employee until January 2004. From October 1998 to December 1999, Mr. Vuko served as a consultant to Achievement Radio Holdings, a radio broadcast company, where he had served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from March 1997. Mr. Vuko holds a B.A. in business from San Francisco State University.

Bonnie Charpentier, Ph.D. has served as our Vice President of Regulatory Affairs since December 2001. From June 1995 to December 2001, Dr. Charpentier held a number of regulatory positions at Roche Global Development, a division of F. Hoffman-La Roche Ltd., a pharmaceuticals and diagnostics company, including Vice President and Regulatory Site Head. From December 1993 to June 1995, Dr. Charpentier served as Regulatory Program Director at Syntex Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company, where she joined as a Manager of Human Pharmaceutical Regulatory in 1991. Dr. Charpentier holds a B.A. and a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Houston.

Claude Miller has served as our Vice President of Quality since February 2004. From September 2000 to November 2003, Mr. Miller held a number of key management positions at Alpha Therapeutic Corporation, a plasma fractionation biologics company, starting as Vice President of Regulatory and Quality before being elevated to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer in March 2002. From April 1997 to September 2000, Mr. Miller was Senior Director of Operations at SangStat Medical Corporation, a transplant company. Prior to joining SangStat, Mr. Miller held a number of positions in Quality and Compliance at Somatix, Collagen Corporation and LifeScan Inc. Claude Miller received his B.S. and M.S. in Molecular Biology/ Microbiology from California State University, Long Beach.

H. David Miller brings more than 30 years of business and information technology management experience in rapidly expanding companies in the computer and software-related industry, as well as in the medical device and bio-tech industries. He comes to Genitope Corporation from Abgenix, where he was vice president of information technology. Before Abgenix, he worked for two medical device companies: Somnus Medical Technologies and Heartport Inc. His extensive experience in the hardware/software sector includes executive-level information systems positions at Taligent, Cognos, DCA and MDS Qantel. David received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Stanford University.

Diane Ingolia, J.D., Ph.D. currently serves as our Vice President of Technical Development and Intellectual Property Counsel. Dr. Ingolia joined us in May 1997 as our Senior Scientist and Intellectual Property Counsel, a position she held until April 2000. From May 2000 to May 2002, Dr. Ingolia served as Vice President of Product Development and Intellectual Property Counsel. From 1994 to 1997, Dr. Ingolia was a patent attorney at Medlen & Carroll, LLP. Dr. Ingolia holds a B.S. degree from University of New Orleans and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Ingolia conducted her postdoctoral research at Stanford University School of Medicine in the laboratory of Dr. Irving Weissman. Dr. Ingolia holds a J.D. from Santa Clara Law School.

Laura Randall Woodhead joined Genitope Corporation as senior corporate counsel in 2002 after seven years at Cooley Godward LLP (San Francisco, California) where she practiced corporate and securities law and served on Genitope Corporation's client team since 1997. Laura earned an AB in Political Science from Stanford University and a JD from the University of California Hastings College of the Law (San Francisco).

Michael J. Buckley, Ph.D. has served as our Vice President of Manufacturing since January 2005. He joined Genitope Corporation after serving as Vice President of Bexxar Operations at Corixa Corporation from January 2003 to August 2004. Dr. Buckley joined Coulter Pharmaceutical in 1996, which was later acquired by Corixa, where he served in positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining Coulter, Dr. Buckley was Senior Scientist for BioTransplant, Inc. Dr. Buckley holds a Ph.D. in Pathology from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a B.A. from the College of Wooster.

Thomas Theriault, Ph.D. has served as Vice President of Research and Development since February 2005. Prior to joining Genitope Corporation, Dr. Theriault held a series of different positions during his nine year career at Incyte Corporation, where he became VP of Research in 2003. He completed his post doctoral fellowship from California Institute of Technology in 1995 after attaining his Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry at Stanford University and an A.B. in Chemistry from Dartmouth College.

Gordon D. Denney has served as a director since November 1996. Mr. Denney has been a financial manager of the Tom James Company since October 1994. Mr. Denney is a Certified Public Accountant, inactive status, and holds a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa.

Mr. McGaughy is a partner in CPMG, Inc. Prior to joining CPMG's predecessor, Cardinal Investment Company in 1997, Mr. McGaughy worked in mergers and acquisitions at Simmons & Company International. Mr. McGaughy currently serves on the board of Genitope Corporation; he also serves on the boards of several private companies, including Reata Pharmaceuticals. He received his B.A. from The University of Texas (summa cum laude and member of Phi Beta Kappa) and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
