We are an independent exploration, development and production company that utilizes advanced technologies to systematically explore for and develop domestic and international oil and natural gas reserves. We focus our exploration and development activities in areas where we believe technology and the knowledge of our management can be used effectively to maximize our return on invested capital by reducing drilling risk and enhancing our ability to grow reserves and production volumes. Our exploration and development activities are currently concentrated in three core areas: the United States, Canada and Indonesia. Mr. Creel has 41 years oil and gas experience as a petroleum exploration geologist. Mr. Creel held various geological and supervisory positions in Libya during his eleven-year career with AMOSEAS (the operator for CALTEX Petroleum). Mr. Creel was also the Exploration Manager of the Rocky Mountain Region and Canada for Ladd Petroleum Company; Exploration Manager of the Rocky Mountain Region for Kilroy Company of Texas; and President of Aztec Resources Corporation. Since 1995, Mr. Creel worked as an independent geologic consultant and in June 1998 he joined GeoPetro in his current role as Vice President of Exploration. Mr. Creel has served as a director of GeoPetro since October 2001. Mr. Creel is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor's degree in Geology and the University of Tulsa with a Master's degree in Geology.

Mr. DeMare is a member in good standing of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia. Since May 1991, Mr. DeMare has been the President of Chase Management Ltd., a private company which provides a broad range of administrative, management and financial services to private and public companies engaged in mineral exploration and development, gold and silver production, oil and gas exploration and production and venture capital. Mr. DeMare indirectly owns 100% of Chase Management Ltd. Mr. DeMare currently serves as an officer and director of several Canadian public companies.
