Bowers joined the company as a residential sales representative with Gulf Power in 1979. He has held his current position since February 2008. Previously, Bowers served as president of Southern Company Generation. He also served as president and CEO of Southern Power, president and CEO of Southern Company's former United Kingdom subsidiary, and senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Southern Company, and held executive positions at Georgia Power. Born 1956.

Womack joined the company in 1988 as a governmental affairs representative for Alabama Power. He has held his current position since January 2009. Previously, Womack was executive vice president of external affairs for Georgia Power. He has held numerous executive and management positions, including Southern Company's senior vice president of human resources and chief people officer, and senior vice president and senior production officer of Southern Company Generation. Born 1958.

As vice president of community and economic development for Georgia Power, Kevin is responsible for the company's efforts to recruit new industry to Georgia, as well as supporting local and statewide initiatives to improve the marketability of communities in the state. The department has been internationally recognized as one of the top economic development organizations in the world.

Bob Hughes is Manager, Product Marketing for Georgia Power. In this position, he is responsible for the marketing and service for the innovative FlatBill pricing program, FlatBill Select, the Budget Bill program, the e-Bill program, Green Energy, and the Connections service. Mr. Hughes has Bachelors and Masters Degree's from the University of West Florida. He has been named "Atlanta's Best Marketing Director" by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. He is a past Vice President and Board member of the Atlanta Ad Club and is the current President of Utility Communicators International. He has also been elected President of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Marketing Association.

Kenneth P. Forlenza is a Principal Staff member of the Georgia Power Corporate Governance and Controls Department. He has been employed by Georgia Power for 26 years. Mr. Forlenza holds an MBA in Finance and Investments from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Dayton. He has been married for 29 years to Candace Forlenza, a Georgia middle school teacher for 20 years. They have two sons, Greg a medical student at the University of Florida, and Dane, a student at the University of Georgia. Ken recognizes that Essential2Life will fill a void and emerge as an important youth development organization serving inner city youth of Atlanta.

Mark A. Weiss is the founder and president of The Renaissance Communications Group, Inc. He has over thirty years of experience in the design, development, delivery and implementation of communication strategies and messages for employee communications, corporate marketing and instructional training. His experiences include the production and project management of live business television broadcasts, videotape and interactive videodisk programs, multimedia presentations, corporate meetings, Internet and Intranet applications and print publications. Mark left the Georgia Power Company to form the Renaissance Communications Group, Inc. (TRCG) in 1996. The company incorporated in February 1997. Prior to forming TRCG, Mark worked in both corporate and broadcast communication environments. His corporate experience includes numerous positions of responsibility in Georgia Power's Corporate Communication Department. As the Communications Supervisor for their Media Services group, Mark was responsible for the management, programming and operation of GPTN, the company's satellite business television network. He also was responsible for managing Georgia Power's media production facility and audio-visual support service. Prior to working for Georgia Power, Mark was a producer and director for television stations in Utica, New York, St. Petersburg, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia. Mark received a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. He has an accreditation from the Institute of Certified Professional Managers as a Certified Manager and a Certificate in Multimedia from the Georgia Institute of Technology Department of Continuing Education. He has been included in the Atlanta Business Chronicle's 1999 and 2000 issues of "Who's Who in the Georgia 400 Corridor" and "Who's Who in North Fulton". He participated in Leadership North Fulton (Class of 1998) and served on the board of directors and steering committee for the organization.

As manager of Non-Metro Community Development, Mike is responsible for the company's efforts in preparing Georgia's communities for growth and bringing new jobs and investment to Georgia. His team of project managers also develop, deliver and support programs that promote leadership development, strategic planning and economic development projects in his or her region.

Before coming to Georgia Power in 2005, Peggy worked at the state and local levels in economic development. Peggy currently serves as president of the Georgia Economic Developers Association, is a board member of the Small Business Assistance Corporation, and maintains membership in the International Economic Development Council.
