James A. Peers, Chief Financial Officer, joined our Company in August 2002. Prior to joining our Company, Mr. Peers was a Senior Vice President at Bank One in Chicago from 1999 to 2001 where he held various positions, including Corporate Controller. He also was the CFO for Rabobank International in New York and a Senior Vice President Corporate Development for Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in New York. Mr. Peers is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Accountant and was a partner at Ernst & Young where he spent 18 years working in the Toronto and Chicago offices mainly with financial institutional clients. J. Christopher Giancarlo, Executive Vice President, Corporate Development, joined our Company in April 2001 following our acquisition of Fenics, where he structured strategic alliances with major investment banks. Prior to joining Fenics in 2000, Mr. Giancarlo was a corporate partner in the New York law firm of Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner, LLP from 1997 to 2000.

As GFI's Managing Director, London, Mr.Martin works alongside Mr. Swain in the running of the London brokerage business. Mr. Martin has held a number of roles at GFI, including the running of the FX options business, moving later into GFI's e-Commerce division as a product manager in London, then New York. He returned to London in 2004 to set up GFI's credit index desk and more recently was responsible for running GFI's structured credit business. Before he joined GFI, Mr. Martin traded currency options and US government securities at Bank of New York.

Julian Swain, Managing Director, GFI London, 40, has served as GFI's Managing Director Europe since July 2006. In that position, Mr. Swain assisted in the management of GFI's day-to-day operations in Europe. Mr. Swain joined GFI in 2001 as head of GFI's European credit products group and oversaw the roll-out of GFI's CreditMatch electronic trading platform. Mr. Cosgrove became Head of Commodities & Energy Product Brokerage, North America for GFI in July 2008. Mr. Cosgrove manages all of GFI's commodities & energy business in North America, including its Amerex and StarSupply divisions. He started his career with Amerex in 1981 as a trainee with the firm's New Jersey office and quickly excelled as a broker of North American and international crude oil. In 1986, Mr. Cosgrove became a partner in the firm and Managing Director of Amerex's European operations. In 1989, Mr. Cosgrove founded Amerex Futures Limited, a member of the London Clearing House and International Petroleum Exchange. In 2003, Mr. Cosgrove was named Chief Executive Officer of the Amerex North American Companies. In 2004, Mr. Cosgrove was named in the Energy Risk Hall of Fame.

Geoffrey Kalish, Lead Non-Executive Director, joined our Board in April 2000. Mr. Kalish is a founder and Senior Principal of Aquiline Capital Partners LLC and has held such position since August 2005. Mr. Kalish was also a founding partner of Venturion Capital LLC and has been a managing director at Venturion since May 1998. Both Aquiline and Venturion are private equity firms that invest exclusively in financial services companies around the world.
