Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd.

Amiram Levinberg is a co-founder of Gilat and returned to the Company in 2005 as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Levinberg returned to the company as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer in 2005. He previously held positions as Gilat's President, Chief Operations Officer and Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Levinberg served in a research and development unit of the Israeli Defense Force (1977-1987) and was awarded the Israel Defense Award in 1988. Mr. Levinberg holds an MSc in Digital Communications and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology, Haifa. Mr. Levinberg also serves on the Boards of Cardboard Industries and Kargal, a cardboard manufacturer in Israel, and Kasamba, an internet company offering online expert professional advice.

Andreas M. Georghiou is the Chief Executive Officer of Spacenet Inc. Previous to Spacenet, Mr. Georghiou was the Chief Commercial Officer for SES Americom and its predecessor GE Americom, a unit of General Electric. He was also a member of Americom’s Management Committee. Mr. Georghiou has been with SES Americom for over 20 years in various leadership roles including President of Americom Asia Pacific, Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations, and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. While the company was still GE Americom, he served as a GE Capital Officer. He started his career at RCA’s world renown David Sarnoff Research Labs. Mr. Georghiou has a MS in Operations Research from the Wharton School of Business, where he studied under a Fulbright Scholarship, and a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania

Ari Krashin serves as Chief Financial Officer for both Gilat Satellite Networks and GNS. Previously, Mr. Krashin was Gilat’s Director of Finance. Before joining Gilat, he served as a CPA for Kesselman & Kesselman, PriceWaterhouseCooper’s Israel office. Mr. Krashin is a CPA and holds a BA in Business Administration and Accounting from the College of Management

Josuha Levinberg, a co-founder, serves as Gilat’s Executive Vice President of Corporate Business Development & Strategy. Mr Levinberg previously served as Senior Vice President for Business Development. He has also held positions as V.P. Marketing for G.E. Spacenet, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of G.E. Capital and then established and was Chief Executive Officer of Global Village Telecom (GVT). In 1990 Mr. Levinberg moved to the U.S. to establish Gilat’s presence there and served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Gilat Satellite Networks, Inc. Mr. Levinberg holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from TelAviv.

Yoav Leibovitch serves as Gilat's Executive Vice President of Corporate Development. Previously, Mr. Leibovitch assisted in the initial public offering of Scopus Ltd. Mr. Leibovitch was Gilat's Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer (1991-2003). Prior to Gilat, Mr. Leibovitch held senior management positions at Bertelsmann AG subsidiary Doubleday Books and at Music Clubs in the U.S.A, and he was the Chief Financial Officer of a partnership between Bertelsmann AG, Clal Corporation and Yediot Aharonot in Israel. Mr. Leibovitch holds an MBA in Finance and Banking and a BA in Economics and Accounting from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Prior to joining GNS, Mr. Segdan was the IT manager for Polycom Israel Ltd and Corporate IT Manager for AudioCodes. He has more than 20 years of experience in managing IT departments, information systems development and implementation projects in a wide range of applications and roles.

Previously, Ms. Hermelin had served as acting head of the department. Prior to Gilat, she worked in human resources at Applied Materials.

At Gilat, Mr. Shaharbany previously held positions as AVP Customer Services, Director of Program Management and Director of Sales, Africa.

Mr. Tamir has been President and a Director of Orckit since its founding in 1990 and Chairman of the Board since July 2008. In addition, Mr. Tamir has been served as Tickro’s Chairman of the Board since January 2000 and as Chief Executive Officer from August 2003 until December 2007. Mr. Tamir is also Chairman of the Board of Corrigent Systems since 2001 and Chief Executive Officer of Corrigent Systems since May 2007. Mr. Tamir has served as a Director at Gilat Satellite Networks since 2005. From 1987 until 1989, Mr. Tamir was employed by Comstream Inc., in San Diego, California. From 1985 until 1987, he was vice president of A.T. Communication Channels Ltd., a subsidiary of Bezeq - the Israel Telecommunications Corporation Ltd. From 1978 to 1985, he was a senior engineer in the Israeli Government.

Karen Sarid is a member of the Board's audit and compensation committees. Ms. Sarid also serves as a Director at Oridion Ltd. (SWXNM: ORIDN), and as a Director and as Chair of the audit committee at LanOptics (NASDAQ: LNOP). Since September 2000, she has been General Manager of Orex Computed Radiography Ltd., a Kodak Company focusing on advanced radiography systems for the digital x-ray market. Ms. Sarid served as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors (1999-2000) of Forsoft Ltd., a software solutions provider and a subsidiary of the Formula Group and Ms. Sarid was Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors (1996-1999) of ESC Medical Systems Ltd., a medical laser manufacturer traded on the NASDAQ. She was Chief Financial Officer (1993-1996) of LanOptics Ltd. Ms. Sarid was awarded CFO of the Year in 1998 by the Association of Chief Financial Officers in Israel, and received a BA in Economics and Accounting from Haifa University.

Rachel Prishkolnik is the Gilat Corporate Secretary. Rachel Prishkolnik previously served as Gilat Legal Counsel. Prior to Gilat, she worked at the law firm of Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro LLP in Los Angeles. Before that, Ms. Prishkolnik worked at Kleinhendler & Halevy in Tel Aviv. Ms. Prishkolnik holds an LLB law degree from the Faculty of Law at the Tel Aviv University and a Bachelors of Arts from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. She is licensed to practice law and is a member of the Israeli Bar.

Haim Benjamini is an external director of the Company and a member of the Company’s audit and compensation committees. Mr. Benjamini is currently an advisor to Teva’s CEO, Board and management. He served as the Corporate Vice President of Human Resources of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (1988-2004) and as the Corporate Vice President of Human Resources at Scitex Corporation (1982-1988). Mr. Benjamini served (1997-2003) as a guest lecturer at Tel Aviv University with the Masters of Arts program in Labor Studies. Mr. Benjamini is a Brigadier General (Ret) in the Israel Defense Force and served in various command staff and training roles (1957-1982). Mr. Benjamini holds an MA in Organizational Behavior from the University of Chicago and a BA in Social Sciences, Sociology and Political Science from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
